I use OSV for Payroll processing, net pay, tax processing, W2 printing and mailing, and garnishment fulfillment. I have been on Payroll at my current company for over five years, and we have used OSV this whole time. They are very timely for net pay processing and standard tax filing. Tax amendment cases can be slow to process and are my only complaint. I also use OSV to assist with ACA reporting, and OSV made that process much smoother. OSV also partners with The Work Number, and they have taken many Verifications of Employment off my workload.
  • Net Pay processing - employees often receive direct deposits one day early.

  • Time to respond to certain tickets/cases.
  • Tax amendment processing time.
OSV uses tickets/cases for communication, which makes it easy to open and monitor the status of transactions. They are great at net pay processing and filing taxes. If things are not moving along, you can reach out to your Tax Specialist or Customer Success Manager, and they can help escalate concerns. It sounds like they are rearranging their tax filing department so they can facilitate quicker resolutions, so I hope that benefits their customers. They are also interested in reaching out and making things right for the customer. Their Knowledge Center online could use a re-vamp. The search function is not useful at all, and I have a difficult time finding forms such as ACH Reversal form, or the Stop Payment form.

they ultimately are our back office for payroll - once we complete payroll in Workday (our HRIS system), we open a ticket for them to settle and remit payments to the employees. They also print and mail our W2s and 1095s (other items they do but we do not use them for that - all Workday related of course)

  • able to escalate easier than larger firms like ADP
  • taxes - was an issue before and we moved to ADP for this
  • turnover a lot - many people change pods on our account so we never really get to know them + not everyone you deal with and ask questions about payroll is knowledgeable
not sure if it's the greatest bang for your buck (since I've never used any other payroll as a service provided outside of them for Workday), but they are the larger players out there.

OSV is our business partner in net pay, tax, and garnishment services. They support our payroll process on a daily basis by making our net pay deposits, garnishment payments, and filing and depositing our tax reports and withholdings. OSV solves any tax agency inquiries and supports us while we pursue compliance.

  • There are occasional occurrences where tickets are mismanaged. We've had instances where tickets were not sent to the proper department or responses to our tickets that settlement runs were not found because the ticket had already been processed. These were not critical issues, but the client can cause doubt in the expertise that I have come to expect from OSV.
I see OSV as a trusted partner for the services we've elected. The reports they provide as part of their services are the most useful and very clear to understand.

If I have an Earning or Deduction code issue, I know that I can hand this off to members of my pod, and the issues are addressed timely and with care as if it were their own payroll. We are a working team, and I like that relationship.

They are also extremely conducive to our company culture and expectations.

We use OneSource Virtual for their professional services in regard to system issues. We also use them for almost all of our payroll-related functions like garnishments, employment verification, year-end processing, and state and federal taxes.

We partner with OneSource Virtual for payroll, our W-2s and our ACA notices for employees. We have always been impressed with the size and scope of the payroll knowledge that OSV has provided over the years. We have gone from in-house payroll management to OSV fully managing our payroll and then back to in-house. The flexibility with which they can meet our needs is outstanding.

OneSource Virtual supports over 5000 benefit-eligible employees all during the benefit plan year. OneSource Virtual provides benefit professionals who are knowledgeable about complex regulations such as the ACA , IRS section 125 plans, health savings accounts, and much more. AMS services with OneSource Virtual supports configuration- which is priceless! This services allows RHA to provide support in the most cost effective method, meet deadlines, regulations and provide the needed support that our employees.

OneSource [Virtual] is our 3rd party net pay settlement provider. They also remit all payroll tax liabilities and file all payroll tax returns on our behalf. [OneSource Virtual] also prepares and remits any necessary federal and/or state tax amendments, and they support our year-end W-2 process and related filings. From time to time, we may also utilize [OneSource Virtual] to handle any garnishments that may arise.
  • [OneSource Virtual] offers an array of on-demand webinars
  • At the end of each quarter, [OneSource Virtual]'s tax and payroll team initiate a meeting with me to discuss the quarter's activities and hear any concerns I may have
  • I meet with my [OneSource Virtual] Success Manager once a year to touch base and discuss improvements to our services
  • There are times (not always) where I have created a ticket and have had to follow up multiple times before I hear back from anyone. I'm not sure if this is an [OneSource Virtual] system issue, but it can be very frustrating.
  • I would love for anyone that's reviewing a ticket to include their phone number in case I need to reach them immediately instead of waiting for their electronic response. Some include their contact information, but the majority do not.
[OneSource Virtual] handles our settlement, tax remittances, and tax agency filings. All payroll processing is handled internally. I have been working with [OneSource Virtual] for over three years and have enjoyed their services. They are timely and responsive. As we open up more campuses, the scope of our work with [OneSource Virtual] will increase, so it's great to know the level of service that we can expect from them.

When it comes to payroll processing and tax services, we use OneSource Virtual and it has been very helpful. We handle our payrolls biweekly and OneSource Virtual handles all payments to our staff while handling tax remittance at the same time. In addition, OneSource Virtual is also great when it comes to reporting.

We use OneSource Virtual for our tax preparation and for our gross to net on our payroll checks. I like the way OneSource Virtual tracks our cases and their follow-up is really good. When we get tax notices we will scan them and then create a case. Then OneSource Virtual follows the case and solves the issues.

OneSource Virtual is the perfect partner for our Payroll/HR/Benefits department utilizing Workday. From the initial implementation to our ongoing administrative services for benefits, tax filing, garnishments, and as needed AMS services, we feel OneSource Virtual is an extension of our team.

Centurion Pipeline currently utilizes OneSource Virtual for Payroll, Payroll Taxes, and Cobra Services. We currently do Net Pay Processing with our Payroll. Our taxes are fully processed and maintained by OneSource Virtual as well as Cobra Services. I am responsible for managing beginning to end processes for all three services, which includes all case communication.
  • The Payroll department is very helpful. [...] [They] practically held my hand [during ]our very first year dealing with [OneSource Virtual]. Workday was new to me and I was not used to the processes. She really helped me understand the entire process from beginning to end.
  • [OneSource Virtual] can definitely improve with Customer Service. The cases and the [number] of e-mails received for just one case can be very overwhelming.
  • [OneSource Virtual] Tax Services can definitely start calling the customer vs responding via a case. Sometimes as a customer I may have a question that I do not fully understand. Instead of providing short answers and going back and forth via the case, picking up the phone to discuss an element a lot of misunderstandings.
Overall [OneSource Virtual] is a fairly good company, however as I stated earlier, picking up the phone when a customer does not fully understand something can help resolve some things much faster. Responding via case is not always the solution.

OneSource Virtual is our professional tax services partner. They are invaluable to ensure that our payroll tax processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner for all jurisdictions. They are able to quickly follow up on any inquiries from jurisdiction and ensure that our accounts are balanced and accurate. We also use OneSource Virtual as an AMS vendor providing support to our projects when our internal team does not have the capacity or expertise to take on a new project. Their thorough and accurate work is always according to our guidelines and they complete tasks in a timely manner. They are a true partner ensuring that we are successful.

OneSource Virtual is our payroll processor. We complete payroll every two weeks and they handle the payment to employees as well as all the tax remittances. Additionally, OneSource Virtual handles quarterly and yearly tax filings with cities, states, and federal.
  • Bi-weekly payroll processing is always done on time.

  • Customer support is excellent
  • I think the tax side of OneSource Virtual could benefit from using POD systems [as] the payroll side does

OneSource Virtual is an experienced consultant in payroll services within Workday and ensures that our payroll is processed accurately and timely and that our 15,000+ employees are paid appropriately. OneSource Virtual also partners with us on our payroll taxes working directly with agencies as our representatives to ensure we are in compliance with all taxes across our business in all 50 states. Finally, we trust OneSource Virtual's AMS services to help configure any new Workday needs we have as well as troubleshoot any problem areas we come across. We trust OneSource Virtual to be the experts in Workday Payroll so we can available to our employees, our internal customers, for their needs.

Currently, OneSource Virtual is our payroll partner for our Canadian and USA operations. They were our implementation partners that implemented Workday for Canada and the USA. We have been working with them for the last 3 years. We are currently using them as a support for managed payroll in our USA and the regular support for our Canadian stores.
  • They know the Workday system inside and out.
  • They are accountable for the services they provide and stay true to their deliverables.
  • They are very responsive in dealing with issues.
  • OneSource Virtual's atmosphere sends silly update emails, such as an automated response, to cases that indicate the case has not been updated. With the number of emails I get in a day, this seems silly.
  • I would also like them to assist with training us on how things are configured. I know that their business is to do it, but assisting us and teaching us how would be helpful.
OneSource Virtual is excellent as a payroll partner. They know their system well and thoroughly understand Workday and its inner workings.

We utilize OneSource Virtual to process net pay/treasury management, garnishment administration, and payroll tax administration. This collaboration gives my team the control over the end-to-end process we require but relieves us of tasks that are not a value-add to our organization such as printing and distributing payslips. This allows my team to focus on partnering with the organization to continue to drive positive business results.
  • It provides proactive communication about changes or issues that arise.
  • There are minimal issues with printing paper checks/payslips and treasury services.
  • There are no integrations to manage due to the in-tenant model.
  • The garnishment process is extremely clean and efficient.
  • Lots of emails when tickets are submitted
We have a great relationship with OneSource Virtual. We left our previous provider due to numerous service issues. OneSource Virtual has been very proactive in its communication and is very knowledgeable. If mistakes are made, they own up to it and handle it until it is resolved. They do have a ticketing system that some people might not be used to, but we've used an internal ticketing system here for a number of years and it works great. Tickets are kept on file so they can be reviewed if needed, which is very handy. They have been a great partner over the years.

OneSource Virtual is our managed payroll partner. They handle payroll management, payroll taxes, garnishments, and end-of-year reporting. Both HR and corporate accounting depend on OneSource Virtual as an asset to our organization. In 2019, we did Lunch 16 with Workday and selected OneSource Virtual to be our payroll partners. They help us with everything from tax registration on the payroll tax team to settling payrolls and sending off direct deposits. My payroll partner at OneSource Virtual, Jessica T., is AMAZING, an absolute godsend. She is a rock star that was there to hold my hand through our first payroll in Workday and help me understand the process. OneSource Virtual has been very quick to educate and partner with me to learn processes and my parts of each process. I am so, so grateful for the team at OneSource Virtual. They make work fun, accurate, and educational.
  • Payroll Processing - we never have late payments.
  • Education - I can ask a question like, "why did this pull into retro" and I will get a quick and accurate response.
  • Always improving - OneSource Virtual is always improving processes and the teams are getting better at what they do.
  • Garnishments - a garnishment team is a well-oiled machine, they know their role and do it well.
  • Payroll Tax - we had some issues with the payroll tax team early on, but I am confident that they will continue to improve. The payroll tax team and I had a meeting to discuss my disappointments and to set expectations.
  • Communication - sometimes, communications with team members in the ticketing system feel aggressive and demanding rather than helpful.
  • Webinars - I would like more of them!
If you are new to the Workday world, OneSource Virtual is an amazing asset for education and assistance. They have helped us get up and go when it came to running our HRIS and setting a good foundation for growth. I am very appreciative of PSV and the role they play in our organization.
