Onfleet gives you the ability to track your drivers progress as they do pick up and deliveries with GPS, the reason we picked this is that we are a SAAS company this integrated well with another tracking tool that we used. One tool focuses on following the driver, the other tool focuses on following the product, we use two different vendors exclusively because it's military contracts to preserve the safety of the product and the driver in case anything goes missing.
  • tracks drivers effectively
  • provides GPS live tracking
  • creates reports of where drivers are being utilized
  • we thought it was a bit expensive
  • we had to develop special tools for integration
Where this really saved us is that we have a piece of software that is cutting edge when it comes to building and supply. This tracker was point point to the second accurate as to where our driver was when the the gps on our software said it was missing, this made the decision to keep this product in perpetuity.
  • tracking
  • reporting
  • has saved us on contract fees
  • has kept the drivers honest about their routes

Customers will have excellent experiences because of Onfleet's optimized route planning, end-to-end communication tools, and market-leading mobile applications. Many businesses engage with customers online through email communication, text messaging, and "frequently asked questions" portions of their websites. While less intimate than face-to-face conversations, online communication is usually swift and productive. Onfleet is here to provide clients with a competitive edge in technology.

Onfleet Path optimization makes it easier to choose the most cost-effective route. There are more difficulties besides determining the shortest route between two points. It must include all relevant details, including the number and locations of all required stops along the route and the times for delivery windows. With Onfleet our company has grown end-to-end communication between customers and vendors.

This shipping service is excellent. Because of the webhook, you provided, I was able to save half of my effort. In addition, the onFleet crew was punctual. Customers receive automated delivery SMS notifications, which allows them to contact the driver directly. It is not my responsibility to create delivery routes, but it is useful that it will do so for you. Its extensive feature set and user-friendly UI are really beneficial to our staff.
  • When looking at warehouses, consider not only the rent but also how close you are to your consumers. In the long term, the latter may save you a lot more money by reducing delivery times, costs, and fuel consumption.
  • To cover more land and be closer to more customers, your warehouses and fulfillment facilities should be widely distributed. Many businesses maintain an East and West warehouse, at the very least, to allow them to deliver items to customers on opposite ends of the coast more quickly.
  • Route design can significantly reduce delivery times.
  • Onfleet recommends the most effective delivery routes by automatically factoring for time, location, truck capacity, and traffic. Any real-time traffic updates that may affect these routes are given to drivers through SMS, reducing travel time and empowering drivers.
  • Onfleet makes this easy by automatically assigning deliveries to your drivers. It works by looking at all of your drivers who are now "on the clock" or "active." It then selects an available driver in close proximity to the delivery.
  • It essentially means that you can't unintentionally assign the same item to many drivers, or assign too much or too little to any single driver. You can set limits, such as two tasks per driver, which will force them to leave.
  • Keep consumers updated with regular updates throughout the delivery process to keep them up to date on their package's progress.
  • This benefits both the consumer and the driver because it ensures that the customer will be present at the time and location of delivery.
  • Onfleet is amazing. What I love the most is that after the 2 years that I've been working on this software, I had no problems or issues. It was easy to edit information to drivers' routes, add on, etc. Good overall software, easy to use.
  • The software's least appealing feature was that it indicated that an order would be late when, in fact, all we needed to do was refresh the drivers profile so that times could be altered.
Predicted ETA: The lack of a predictive ETA option for smaller customers is really annoying. It results in an excessive number of missed deliveries, and the live tracking link isn't very helpful to customers if orders are heavily grouped (when the first notification they get says their order is 7 minutes away it is not that helpful). Proof of Delivery: We use the photo feature when our drivers place orders at the front door, but for some reason, OnFleet does not allow us to share the image url with the customer (as far as we can tell). As a result, if a consumer wants to know where it is, they must contact customer service for more information. Physical manifests are requested by many drivers.
  • The robust webhooks and Zapier integrations. It enables expansion and integration outside itself, resulting in a smooth operation.
  • We've been using onfleet for three years and love it. The user interface is fantastic, there are numerous options, and the support and team are outstanding!
  • It's been fun growing up with their technology, and they've made our life a lot easier on a regular basis.
  • There are various strategies to boost your ROI depending on the type of return you're looking for on a business investment. Increased earnings, lower expenses, or intangible benefits like enhanced operational efficiencies or increased brand awareness are all possible returns. Setting as many quantitative benchmarks as possible and clearly stating your goals can help you maximise the payback on the many actions you take to develop your organisation.
  • The first step in increasing your investment return is to precisely define the prospective return or returns on your investment. Higher sales, higher revenues, more profits, lower overhead or production expenses, higher employee retention, improved customer happiness, increased brand preference, or less government requirements are just a few examples. Set various benchmarks for your return goals if possible. Instead of setting a target of higher sales, create a goal of increased sales during a specific month, in a specific region, with a specific sales agent, or from a specific distribution channel.

Onfleet is being used by multiple departments. It's mainly utilized by our operations and dispatch departments, however, customer care also uses it for route-related questions. Onfleet solves several business problems, including optimizing driver routes, providing ETAs to customers, tracking drivers, alerting customers, analyzing pickup and delivery information, and providing proof of delivery.
  • Estimating drivers' arrival times.
  • Optimizing task placements on routes.
  • Providing analytical tools.
  • Open API.
  • The interface is sometimes slow/laggy.
  • More customization.
  • Integration with more services.
Onfleet is well-suited in our business that is based solely on pickups and deliveries. We are able to build routes in the morning, optimize them for efficiency, assign them to specific drivers, and track/follow through all the way from pickup to delivery the next day.
  • Positive impact in relation to optimizing routes to reduce costs.
  • Positive impact in relation to pickup/delivery accountability (barcodes, pictures).
  • Positive impact on system efficiencies and analytics.
Onfleet is usable and provides sufficient training material, however it's very complex and the software has some nuances that can only be learned with time. Operating with multiple regions or areas can become cluttered and hard to navigate. More customization of appearance, features, etc. would help usability and prevent irrelevant information or features from being shown.
Onfleet has given great support and worked with our organization when we're trying to figure out a solution or work through a glitch. Their team seems small, personable, and laid-back. Sometimes there is a delay/wait after contacting support, but the answers are always thorough and the problems are usually solved.
