As per our usage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for almost 6 years hosting 500 + customers I can say its well suited application for any small scale to larger scale application as it can handle that capacity and provide more reliable cloud service only if you need any messaging service like pub/sub or sqs better to consider other services.

Oracle Cloude Infrastructure (OCI) is well suited for conducting exploratory trials of a 5G network slicing technology. It is easy to create virtualized network slices with varying QoS parameters, experiment with edge computing capabilities and analyze performance metrics. It's scalability and robust networking capabilities support agile testing and optimization. However, when we want to conducting rapid, short-term experimentation with a limited budget and minimal setup complexity, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure may be less appropriate. Moreover, its extensive capabilities may not be necessary for straightforward, low-risk experiments with minimal resource requirements.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is well suited for Oracle based application and databases. In our organization we are using Oracle autonomous databases which works best for us as there is no hassle of maintenance. Apart from that we are using Oracle e-business suite application for financial and HR purposes which works perfect with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It even has predefined templates for Oracle products.

For a scenario, where there is a requirement for dynamic scaling of storage resources, i would recommend Oracle Cloud Infrastructure i.e. for large query sets because if you using oracle databases, you can check OAC for embedded analytics, that will visualize the data for storytelling to business users.
The initial set can be a bit challenging, and if you rely on documentation too much, then that could be confusing and time consuming.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services are really good when to comes to compute power, networking and scaling and Managed Database service too. Comparing to GCP and AWS they're bit new but they're improving with time. As of now they need improvement in their ML tools.
