https://media.trustradius.com/product-logos/TJ/0g/NZRRNBHTIIDP.JPEGEPM Cloud - Consolidations and Planning togetherWe are fairly new to the Oracle offerings. We are using FCC at department level - within corporate sector, right now. It allows us to consolidate our financial numbers at GAAP and IFRS level and report at the top level to our leadership team and executives - on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Thank you!,Consolidates financial numbers well Allows different way of representation of data Aggregation of data,Limitation of number of dimensions it can have Performance tend to be slow when it has to process large data Simplest way to import / export data,7,With the new offerings where Oracle merge all the silo products under one umbrella (EPM), it could be very beneficial to organization who is planning to leverage all the different tools and modules. But if organization is not planning to leverage other tools and modules, then it could be costly too.,As stated earlier, we are still very new to Oracle products and offering. So, we are still evaluating how reporting and other tool sets can help us simplify our enterprise wide reporting and analytical needs. So, it is too soon so say much about EPM cloud's reporting capabilities and how it can simplify reporting.,Positive - Consolidated financial processing and reporting,Not yet, but I'm interested in Oracle user groups,Partner-led,Inter-rel,6Oracle EPM Cloud exceeds expectationsIt's being used by the FP&A team for monthly business reporting package. Prior to having the Oracle EPM Cloud, the team used Excel spreadsheets. This is a lot easier without having to manually calculate other formulas.,Smart View allows accountants to create their own reports easily. Reports are dynamically refreshed after the month-end close. Allows flexible reporting using alternative account hierarchy.,Our implementation consultant set up all the business rules for calculations to get us live, and we may have difficulty setting up new ones going forward. We feel like that we now need to hire someone who has the technical knowledge to help us to manage the system going forward.,9,We are just live on it for one month. We definitely see how easy it is to implement, and how quickly our analysts are able to use Smart View to create their reports. We gain efficiency in monthly report preparation for the CFO's office.,The biggest problem it solves, for now, is to improve our monthly reporting, and we just started to see the time reductions when preparing our reporting package.,We started to build out our planning and budgeting process, and it will streamline our upcoming budgeting process.,No,Prophix,Partner-led,Pelaton,10My review of Oracle EPM Cloud.Oracle EPM Cloud is used by our entire company for analytics of our business and helping us to ensure that senior leadership understand how we are performing as a company.,Easy to use. Strong calculation engine. Centralized platform on the cloud.,Functionality issues are common with updates that can cause issues in the system . Need better and clearer communication on changes and impacts. The move to groovy is at best questionable. Need to understand why Oracle is moving in a direction where a programming language that is not universally used is part of this major offering.,10,Oracle EPM Cloud is a one stop shop where users can utilize multiple functionalities to run their business is invaluable. We have an integrated tool that help us take data from our Planning tool to our Consolidations tool to ensure that we are all speaking the same truth. We don't currently utilize PCM but we do hope to grow from our current use of Oracle EPM Cloud to leverage these tools.,We use reports sparingly at our company. We mainly utilize Smart View for our data analysis and reporting.,I don't have anything quantifiable to relate. However since our move from On Prem to Cloud, we definitely see a huge improvement on performance and our ability to eliminate our internal servers.,Yes,,In-housePlanning in the Cloud and UK GovernmentCurrently using Oracle EPM Cloud's ePBCS for financial planning and implementing workforce planning. It is used in Phase 1 - Finance for budget setting, forecasting, and transfers of budgets. In Phase 2 HR, we will be using it to plan our people and have created interfaces for recruitment and to update HCM, in order to create new positions based on the required level of need. This will allow us to have sight of our vacancies and demands. We are adopting position management in Oracle HCM Cloud, along with jobs, performance, learn module. Will will use this alongside the customer experience cube, to manage recruitment and retention. We also have Oracle Analytics Cloud. This will help us to decide whether we have the talent in house to fulfill vacancies or if we need to go outside to recruit.,The tasks lists and workflow work well for managing activity. The amount configuration that you can add allows personalisation. Give you extra cubes to rebuild the EPBCS ones that don't fit. Business rules.,Ability to create positions for HCM. Connectivity to OACS fails, brings down EPM pod. Ability to copy cubes between versions of the pods instead of all cubes. Come with integrations to the rest of Oracle. Secondary dimension sends 6000 emails when the workflow is turned on. This should not happen. Should be able to disable notifications. BSO cube fails to return results.,9,We have bought FCCS, PCM and EPRCS, but have not yet implemented. We are hoping to use this for annual accounting, end to end costing, and input to output.,We have used FRS to produce MI reports. There is limited functionality with form sizes and using pov. We are gaining more benefits out of Smart View. It would be better if when you export to Excel, those formulas are carried through. Oracle should look to the BI product functionality to improve.,Forecasting sped up, removal of 3 days from process. Longer-term planning is now online. Budget transfers can now be traced through the system.,Yes,,Partner-led,Brovanture,10EPM ReviewWe use it for our entire AOP and QOP plan in OPEX and revenue. It is being used across the company and management is getting real-time details to make quick decisions.,Different model plans for management needs - for OPEX and revenue, we need to build different models to meet the needs of our company. EPM cloud is good at this and meets our needs for creating these models. One global plan and integration with other cloud-like Oracle HCM for plans - reduces the manual effort of getting the data and activating information. Easy to use application.,More simple integrations needed. Simple SSO needed to access - We need to have two-factor authentication.,9,Only planning and budgeting is used for our current needs.,Yes, the reporting process is very simple and very usable to business users.,Better and easy plans to build for management decisions. Integration is not that simple and seamless.,Yes,,Partner-led,8EPM Cloud ReviewIt is getting used for planning and budgeting. It is being used across my organization. It is solving the issues with sales planning cycles and expense budgeting.,It is particularly helpful in the planning of the sales cycles to the FP&A users. It is rolling up the GL balances effectively and generating financial statements. The maintenance of the COA data has been simplified.,Integration between the non-Oracle transactional systems needs to simpler. Automatic data audit functionality needs to be built.,9,It streamlined the entire planning and budgeting cycle.,Yes, we have started reaping the benefits of implementing EPBCS.,Streamlined the planning and budgeting cycle. Effective user and role management. Cost effective.,Yes,,Partner-led,EY,10Oracle EPM Cloud ReviewWe support Oracle EPM Cloud at other banking companies.,Secure data transfer. Pricing is somewhat complicated.,9,We have gotten more contracts by it.,Not yet, but I'm interested in Oracle user groups,,Partner-led,Cannot disclose.,10Best for you Finance/Accounting teamIt is being used at the Finance and Accounting departments.,Easy to run reports. All accounting needs are met. Very easy to navigate and user-friendly.,Could be expensive given the size of your company. Doest make sense for small companies to implement it.,10,Fulfills all accounting needs. Also, the user needs to be a little bit creative to achieve what they are trying to get.,Great capabilities to remove lengthy Excel spreadsheets and combine everything under one system.,10,efficiency in the accounting department.,NoMagic Quadrant leader never fails to impress!Oracle EPM Cloud is only being used by our financial management team in our organization. The two main business problems we are using Oracle EPM Cloud to solve are to manage the performance of our enterprise and for analytics related to business intelligence. We needed a solution that was both easy-to-use and flexible to our changing demands, hence we chose Oracle EPM Cloud.,Fast performance. Compared to Oracle EPM Cloud's competitors, we had no problems whatsoever in quickly connecting to the Cloud. User-friendly interface. Navigation is intuitive, and users don't have to shoot in the dark to find settings. Customizable and flexible to an enterprise needs. We have yet to need any external plugins/add-ons for our use cases.,Customer support is poor. I and many of my colleagues have had awful experiences repeatedly for trying to get someone on the line for assistance. Abundance of software bugs. EPM Cloud is close, but not quite at the level of maturity. Much time was wasted trying to figure out whether a problem was with the software or our own configuration setup. Repetition and redundancy when filling out forms. I have had to cut-paste the same information multiple times for some steps in the transaction entry forms.,5,Before we started using Oracle EPM Cloud, we were manually executing processes such as profitability and cost management as our company was smaller back then. Once we started growing, we realized that we needed to scale up, and start automating many of these tasks. With Oracle EPM Cloud, all of these functions have reduced the pressure on our employees, and have increased their productivity by focusing on big-picture goals.,As mentioned previously, we used to have employees who would have to manually create tens of reports, and these reports would have to be sent through email for others to view. With Oracle EPM Cloud, we have managed to automate the creation of the majority of these reports, and all members of organization are able to view them by simply accessing the Cloud.,Significantly reduced the amount of money we spent for the maintenance of in-house hardware. We now need less employees to manage the configurations of Oracle EPM Cloud. There have been many time savings as a whole to apply to more productive causes.,No,Prophix,In-house,We did not use a system integrator or implementation partner.Read this before you implement!Currently we have on-premises Hyperion, and that is a very dated version and we do not have a lot of new capabilities released by Oracle. EPBCS is planned to be used across the organization.,Out of the box capabilities. Ease of use. A monthly roll-out of new features.,To configure cloud services, one must invest a lot A system integrator is required. SI costs a lot.,8,Having all products consolidated and at one place will greatly enable collaboration and have the benefit of having up to date features/solution on hand to meet any challenge/ business transformation that may arise over the course of the time.,A superuser could create new reports and push them in few seconds to be used by all users. Similarly, if any user comes up with a creative report and would like to share it with other users, it's just a matter of seconds after pushing the button. Every report is the disposal of every user.,Time Savings Employee productivity: collaboration, the ability to see all the tasks happening. Instead of waiting for an email, it's all located in the system.,No,Moving into the futureOracle EPM Cloud is being used to efficiently and effectively plan our annual budget. We are able to generate reports and calculations to assist with our budget as well as the creation of ad hoc queries and monthly reporting needs. We currently utilize this product within the finance division.,We utilize the SmartView Excel add-in tool to generate reports for various needs including annual state reporting and unexpected need. Monthly maintenance to the EPM Cloud service is keeping the product up to date. Communicate upcoming enhancements.,Ability to change how often patches are applied. Currently the only option is monthly. Financial report building user-friendliness.,9,We have not implemented further than the planning and budget cloud.,We have not implemented Narrative Reporting, however, Financial Report is helpful. Once a report is set up, the maintenance is easy to complete.,It saves our analysts time on reporting, data analysis, and calculations. It saves us 20% of time off of our calculation processes for our entire cycle. These are increased efficiencies.,No,,Partner-led,Innofin Solutions,9EPM CloudOracle EPM is used for external and management reporting.,Excel Reporting, Ease of use for end-users. The benefits designed to control merging is cost-efficient and time-saving.,Cannot answer at this time.,Not yet, but I'm interested in Oracle user groups,,In-house,We don't currently use an integrator or implementation partner.,1Best Financial Planning and Budgeting PlatformIt is being used across the whole organization to address the financial planning process we were using. It's helpful, especially for tech support.,It was secure and easy to implement. It allows us to get to the financial data as fast as we need it. It optimizes the performance of the cloud service.,There were some performance issues during the initial installation.,6,The rich functionality that Oracle EPM cloud offered has impacted the organization, which improved productivity and smooth reporting tools.,Yes. The reporting capabilities, including the ability to allow the user to generate Excel files for management review, is a big plus.,Great productivity return on the investment. Allows cross-business functions to be integrated and connected with the EPM system. Provided fast service for business in the financial planning and budgeting department.,Yes,,In-house,We implemented in-house.,7Record to Report IT ManagerWe have started with our cloud Journey with Oracle EPM Cloud. We started off with Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS). We have selected ARCS to manage our reconciliations and our coroprate Record to Report uses this. We want to automate reconciliations and provide better visibility and control over reconcilaitions. we are moving from a manual process to ARCS.,Account Reconciliation CLoud Services provides tight integration with Oracle R12 and 11i . Provides drillback capability. It is flexible and provides rich functionality to users. We have implemented ARCS on cloud and migrated planning and budgeting from On premise to PBCS and EPBCS. Functionality is onpar with onpremise. Provides regular updates monthly We don't need to upgrades every year and saved a lot on Hardware.,Core HFM functionality on Cloud is not yet on par. We use lot of custom dimensions and it is restricted at the moment. Data Management on Cloud is not yet on par with FDMEE on premise.,8,Financial consolidation and close is the next product that we are evaluating. Close Manager can automate all close processes but it has dependency on Integration Cloud for event monitoring. FCCS can really automate close processes and provides real time visibility to Management,Reporting capabilities on EPM cloud are on par with OnPremise. All of our reporting requirements are met,8,It has positive ROI impact on our business. Hardware savings and future upgrade cost can be avoided.,Yes,BlackLinePut your head in the clouds with EPM Cloud excellence! My client is a multi-billion, multi-national construction and infrastructure company. Oracle EPM cloud was used to report monthly, quarterly, half year and full year. EPM cloud is also used to consolidate through the divisions and with the parent company in the UK. Reporting to the London Stock Exchange, providing timely consolidations to the level of detail required, over various divisions globally was a problem that the client struggled with for many years. Ultimately, they upgraded from HFM (standalone, on-prem) to Oracle EPM Cloud across the US and currently being implemented across all global divisions. The predominant problem being addressed is seamless consolidation and vital data capture for reporting on IFRS and GAAP globally.,Data integrity Cloud integration - high availability and locally implemented instances that provide a custom feel Systematic and customized capture of vital information Does not necessarily require a dedicated administrator,Menus are not always intuitive. When errors occur it is not always easy to pinpoint where the errors are coming from. Customization is always a challenge with many products. Stock reports and operational financial information needs to be a priority during the implementation phase, so that a fully functioning finance department is not debilitated once live.,8,Right off the bat, let me state that, I was involved with the transition, set-up, implementation and on-going operations of a 10 person finance and accounting department for a $700M division of a multinational organization using EPM cloud. Part of the push for this implementation was the ease at which results could be reported, automated close processing, seamless consolidation by country and division, reporting requirements in various forms and both GAAP and IFRS requirements by the country and parent company. To this end the implementation team worked diligently to create the chart of accounts and business unit hierarchy to fit the required internal and external reporting requirements. As with all well-oiled systems - well planned and detailed work up front made the post-implementation issues fewer. To provide a detailed account of the impact and benefits on the organization by order of importance: labor and time saving close processing was by far the most impactful with 1-3 FTE savings. Seamless consolidation was a close second due to its unavailability in the previous HFM system capability. Finally, GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements were a laborious and painstaking task, using EPM Cloud, we were able to reduce required activity by at least 200 man hours/quarter.,EPM Cloud offers 3 interfaces to input and report. First, a cloud-based excel interface; second, a fully functional Excel-based interface and finally and for reporting only a web publishing portal for standardized reporting in HTML, Excel (using SmartView), and pdf formats. This provides a high degree of flexibility, a wide variety of applications and affords uses with various levels of expertise. Recreating reporting in excel using SmartView (which was also available in HFM) provided a quick and seamless upgrade path. Existing benefits and new benefits were achieved quickly and painlessly.,8,Time savings Labor savings Faster close Seamless consolidations ability to report to parent Parent can pull information from local instance Smartview / Excel interface can be tricky,No,IBM Cognos, IBM Cognos Planning, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), Adaptive Insights and Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance ManagementGreat productWe are using the functionality enterprise wide to provide insight and analytical trends as well as accelerating the monthly close and consolidation process.,Analytics and predictive trend analysis using actual data to better predict the future. Close and consolidation process.,I have not found any areas thus far where we are having issues with the product.,10,The product has provided an acceleration of financial analytics and profitability analysis.,We have used this capability to produce standard reports for the organization as well as using SmartView plugins to provide better access to analytical information.,10,The product has provided faster access to analytical information.,No,Driver driven EPBCSIt is used by our financial and planning team. ARCS and FCCS for reconcilation and close. EPBS for planning and budgeting. Using ARCS we are more efficient in our consolidation process. With EPBCS we have improved our planning and budgeting process. These solutions have given back the user lot more time to do value added work for their department and organization.,Task Manager in EPBCS helped out business users to track the planning and budgeting process. EPBCS Driver based solution was a total win for us. We didn't have do much of a customization work. Smart view reporting met the users adhoc reporting needs.,We have just started using it. After couple of cycles we will be able to add the missing functionality.,9,Yes we are using the adhoc reporting capabilities using Smart View and other out of box reporting capabilities.,9,Simplified process. Felixable to make changes to the planning in a dynamic market.,YesEPM Cloud Developer's POVI am helping my client move from on-prem to Cloud EPBCS with guidance to adopt as many of the out of the box frameworks as possible.,Reliability Ease of use Consistency with prior product to enhance user adoption,More flexibility within the frameworks Transparency in performance optimization More flexible migration options to exclude cubes in prod.,10,We offer a wide spectrum of big picture visioning to take full advantage of the possibilities for each client. We use cross functional and expanded scope to solve issues we uncover by asking questions and listening.,Clients typically push back a little when you start talking about scope expansion for a project due to budget constraints, but successful delivery will demonstrate the power of proper implementation and a “what else can we improve” attitude.,9,Reduction in development time Easier access via http Reliable consistent service Constantly improving performance and features,Yes,SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation)EPM user reviewWe currently use EPBCS for planning & budgeting across the organization. We leverage primarily the expense & workforce module and our user group are various cost centre managers & administrators,Offers platform to connect with other Oracle cloud users. Great reference/ platform to ask questions to other users monthly patches ensures that we can take advantages of the most updated functionalities Communication & responses from Oracle product developers on Customer connect makes me feel like they take customer feedback seriously,Sometimes to do an action in the application takes too many clicks. (ie: adding a new employee in workforce )THis has been feedback from our user group. some features not compatible with MS edge (ie: expansion of reports doesn't work in edge), which is becoming a common browser & is now the only supported browser at our company. Alot of the times will get an error page when trying to hit the URL & will need to hit the browser refresh button to get the splash page to properly load,6,have not leveraged this function,6,Our users currently finds the product cumbersome to use and don't like the UI & webforms eliminated the need to manual consolidate excel templates, thereby reducing risk. Smartview allows FPA team to pull data out of the system very easily & perform their own analyses,No,IBM CognosARCS ReviewIt is being used globally.,The user interface is friendly. Good reporting of reconciliation status. The application was relatively easy to set up and use.,The auto-reconciliation feature could use some work. It would be great if there was some direct integration to EBS R12+ on-premise without the requirement to pull data via FDMEE.,8,Presently in Cloud, we are only using account reconciliation.,We have achieved positive results such as improved controls and streamlining account reconciliation with completeness and validation.,6,The benefits are mostly soft as we have not performed any hard calculations on time savings. For certain the tool enables better and more complete monitoring of the account reconciliation process.,No,Review of Enterprise CloudIt helps with supporting clients for an integrated reporting platform when we are selling multiple products within the oracle EPM stack both for cloud and on premise. Given it can report across clouds it works well for customer needs,Integrated Reporting Collaboration Report Creation Budgeting and Planning Consolidated results,Seperate products to buy Named users Bulk data loading.,9,It has helped sell deals by providing a phase approach and selling in different products over time with a multi faceted approach around user adoption and integrated solutions,The financial report writer is very antiquated needs to be improved,9,Defining a true reporting strategy Integrated planning Interested consolidations,Yes,Sr Director - Business Finance and TransformationUsed for Budgeting and Planning...gives almost real time view of global expense roll up and capital budgets. • Consolidates financial numbers well
  • Allows different way of representation of data
  • Aggregation of data
When you want to have a once centralize system to manage your master data, EPM is a good option.

EPM is also a good option for Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting.

When you have large data sets, many dimensions or objects, EPM is probably not a good option as it could be very costly at the end.

Oracle EPM Cloud is only being used by our financial management team in our organization. The two main business problems we are using Oracle EPM Cloud to solve are to manage the performance of our enterprise and for analytics related to business intelligence. We needed a solution that was both easy-to-use and flexible to our changing demands, hence we chose Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Fast performance. Compared to Oracle EPM Cloud's competitors, we had no problems whatsoever in quickly connecting to the Cloud.
  • User-friendly interface. Navigation is intuitive, and users don't have to shoot in the dark to find settings.
  • Customizable and flexible to an enterprise needs. We have yet to need any external plugins/add-ons for our use cases.
Considering the costs of implementing and purchasing the license for Oracle EPM Cloud, I would say it is not well-suited for smaller companies and startups. On the other hand, it is a great solution for medium-sized companies and up. If your budget allows it, this is probably hands-down one of the best EPM systems out there.

Currently we have on-premises Hyperion, and that is a very dated version and we do not have a lot of new capabilities released by Oracle. EPBCS is planned to be used across the organization.
  • Out of the box capabilities.
  • Ease of use.
  • A monthly roll-out of new features.
It's the first time in the enterprise world that we could imagine and dream to have up-to-date features without planning for minor/major upgrades.

Oracle EPM Cloud is being used to efficiently and effectively plan our annual budget. We are able to generate reports and calculations to assist with our budget as well as the creation of ad hoc queries and monthly reporting needs. We currently utilize this product within the finance division.
  • We utilize the SmartView Excel add-in tool to generate reports for various needs including annual state reporting and unexpected need.
  • Monthly maintenance to the EPM Cloud service is keeping the product up to date.
  • Communicate upcoming enhancements.
Oracle EPM Cloud is well suited for line-item budgets as well as the ability to house position managements. It's good for public sector organizations, like schools. It's also easy to use for someone who isn't an IT professional. It's been ideal for any project in which we need to link between spreadsheets.

It is well-suited for most businesses. When it comes to our quarterly financial review, Oracle EPM Cloud helps us look back at all the finances we had to work within that period. On the flip side, every other company is using the solution and it can cause delays in data retrieval.

It is being used across the whole organization to address the financial planning process we were using. It's helpful, especially for tech support.
  • It was secure and easy to implement.
  • It allows us to get to the financial data as fast as we need it.
  • It optimizes the performance of the cloud service.
It is best for department budgeting and planning. It has the best in-house support to help with the transition from a legacy system to cloud-based system, like Oracle EPM Cloud.

We have started with our cloud Journey with Oracle EPM Cloud. We started off with Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS). We have selected ARCS to manage our reconciliations and our coroprate Record to Report uses this. We want to automate reconciliations and provide better visibility and control over reconcilaitions. we are moving from a manual process to ARCS.
  • Account Reconciliation CLoud Services provides tight integration with Oracle R12 and 11i . Provides drillback capability. It is flexible and provides rich functionality to users.
  • We have implemented ARCS on cloud and migrated planning and budgeting from On premise to PBCS and EPBCS. Functionality is onpar with onpremise. Provides regular updates monthly
  • We don't need to upgrades every year and saved a lot on Hardware.
Oracle EPM cloud is well matured Product . It has rich functionality. Delivers new features regularly and provides regular monthly updates.

The predominant problem being addressed is seamless consolidation and vital data capture for reporting on IFRS and GAAP globally.
  • Data integrity
  • Cloud integration - high availability and locally implemented instances that provide a custom feel
  • Systematic and customized capture of vital information
  • Does not necessarily require a dedicated administrator
It is well suited in a geographically distributed environment where you have various key participants in multiple time zones providing input and necessary explanations on performance and measured success
It is less appropriate where you have a single office environment with a single finance department working together.
It is also less suited when the GL is NOT an Oracle product and the interface between the GL and the reporting software needs to be implemented with utmost care and handling.

We are using the functionality enterprise wide to provide insight and analytical trends as well as accelerating the monthly close and consolidation process.
  • Analytics and predictive trend analysis using actual data to better predict the future.
  • Close and consolidation process.
I have not found any situations where the product is not appropriate for use. Users need to be creative to find the best way to utilize the product and think outside the box.

It is used by our financial and planning team. ARCS and FCCS for reconcilation and close. EPBS for planning and budgeting. Using ARCS we are more efficient in our consolidation process. With EPBCS we have improved our planning and budgeting process. These solutions have given back the user lot more time to do value added work for their department and organization.
  • Task Manager in EPBCS helped out business users to track the planning and budgeting process.
  • EPBCS Driver based solution was a total win for us. We didn't have do much of a customization work.
  • Smart view reporting met the users adhoc reporting needs.
EPBCS driver based solution was a great fit to our requirements. We didn't have to go for any customization. It was a perfect out of box fit for us and for any future integration too.

I am helping my client move from on-prem to Cloud EPBCS with guidance to adopt as many of the out of the box frameworks as possible.
  • Reliability
  • Ease of use
  • Consistency with prior product to enhance user adoption
I would strongly recommend migration to the Cloud for new customers, existing customers that can adapt to the frameworks, and clients with flexibility in improving the way they use the product for peak performance.

It is being used globally.
  • The user interface is friendly.
  • Good reporting of reconciliation status.
  • The application was relatively easy to set up and use.
Great for putting additional controls around your account reconciliation process, such as completeness, tracking, and assigning account reconciliations.

Used for Budgeting and Planning...gives almost real time view of global expense roll up and capital budgets.
Was able to harmonize different charts of accounts, processes and consolidate under one platform for budgeting and management reporting
  • Flexibility, consolidations and mass data upload capability
Well suited for large enterprises; not well suited for extreme customization

EPM cloud is being used for Forecasting, budgeting , and KPI reporting. EPRCS is not being used as the product has not shown its value or ease of use.
  • EssBase Cube is strong
  • Multiple dimensions and adhoc reporting is powerful
  • Dashboard reporting is adequate
For straight budget and forecasting - it is adequate
For dash boarding when logged in - good
Ability to do budget/forecast via SV or Workspace is a nice option

It is used by Corporate to roll up the ledgers of all of our business units
  • Rolls up general ledger information from our business segments
  • Easy to replicate our business heirarchy
  • Reporting is a piece of cake
Our company uses it primarily to roll up ledger data from our business segments - it works perfectly in that regard
