  • Saved an incredible amount of time compared to developing the integrations ourselves, resulting in a massive ROI.
  • Prebuilt connectors for Oracle Fusion and JET had a positive effect too.
  • Creating custom connection for the Java API Gateway took a while but was reusable.

  • Positive impact because it takes away the overhead of designing the integration from the scratch.
  • On the negative side of things is it requires a good understanding of the process to implement sophisticated integrations.

  • For large businesses it is worth having this great cloud integration platform. Once it is implemented the customer doesn't have to worry about the upgrades and maintenance with the subscription/license fees.
  • If the customer has complex custom integration there can be a need of skilled OIC resources.

  • The platform is fairly stable but we have had negative impacts where we have had issues with on-premise agents failing.

  • Created a solution for unique business integration with minimal processing times
  • Saves my team about 7 hours per week because of how it communicates with all the information. Because it communicates faster, and because there's a lot of information to communicate with, another solution might not work.

  • We run big integration practices and that practice is pretty successful. We have seen the customer getting quick ROI as the initial investment is not much. The customer can also get a free 1-month trial instance of OICS to try out. All of our customers are happy with this investment so far.

  • When developing a new application you can start with a good percentage of the application's functionality already built and available to the developers. This reduces the cost to implement new applications or rework existing applications.
  • In early stages of a SOA migration you will not see a very good ROI but if you stick with and you development team embraces the SOA architecture ROI will increase over time.
  • To get the most out of the early implementation of SOA the first services you should implement are those that are used in most applications.
