Oracle PeopleSoft HCM Reviews

PeopleSoft HCM has provided a very flexible platform for our HR needs. The ability to add customizations to handle some of our unique business processes have been critical in the longevity of our PS HCM use. We've been able to handle a wide variety of business processes for multiple subsidiaries due to the ability to customize when needed.

I've used several payroll applications and nothing beats PeopleSoft. It has gotten better now that they've added PeopleSoft University and Cloud Services.

I like using it. It gives us the best means of getting work done without a lot of down time.

Efforts to deploy the product took approximately two years. A lot of hard work and future thinking was built into our environment.

PeopleSoft was time-consuming to implement across the organization. We have not had any large-scale problems working in PeopleSoft and do not wish to change to another program. PeopleSoft is so simple to use and easy to learn that it does not make sense to switch to a different platform.

I don't make the decision to renew or use this product.

One key factor is the cost of transitioning to a new system. Once a company invests in an enterprise system, especially one that is cross functional, changing to a new platform is often cost-prohibitive. This is even more pronounced is resources have been invested in customization. For most companies cost is a huge driver. In my experience, the value provided outweighs those costs so sticking with Peoplesoft has been a relatively easy decision.

It is easy to use and train, so that the administrators can maintain the system better. Improving processing speed could be faster: that would be a good improvement.
