  • Around 30-40% reduction in Incident response time for our use case. The work done by 2 first level teams is now automated and done by Pagerduty
  • During major incident intelligent AI alerting generates 1 or 2 alerts instead of 10-20 which means operations teams can efficiently work on resolution rather than just responding to calls
  • Improved Brand impact as automated notifications to stakeholders means real time updates with relevant information.

  • Saved about $50k USD per annum on event management only. This does not include all the additional benefits of things like on-call, automated escalations, etc. we did not have previously.
  • Reduced on prem infrastructure footprint by about $6k USD a month.

  • For smaller, leaner IT Departments, the cost is an issue that has forced us to find an alternative or go with a competitor. Though valuable, some companies would see this as a luxury for IT.
  • PD is reliable for getting the alerts on time, with backup techs.
  • Love the schedule.
