Solid Platform for Medium-Large Sites

- their support is incredibly fast and helpful
- For now, we have had no downtime issues
- Using live environment is a a little hard because the files cannot be modified via sftp nor git
- not having access via ssh is tricky for those who are not used to ftp/sftp
- autopilot instance have some issues with page builder's cache such as beaver builder
- it limits the use of know plugins such as updraft or wp-rocket
- Configuring a new project is easy, an existing one is kind of hard
- Performance monitoring.

- Since it can host CMS, it would be nice if it could also host Laravel.
- Caching is not on-par compared with AWS Elasticache.

Simplifying Complex Needs
- Integrated GIT / versioning
- Tiered workflow for development and staging environments, for safe and rapid deployment
- Consistent server configurations across projects, for easy diagnoses and speedy IT support
- A little more control over features, e.g. htaccess, cron jobs, and general server configuration.
- More integrated support for some niche solutions (e.g. WordPress multisite).
- Allowing the ability to more easily clone or duplicate entire projects.
- Support is excellent if you run into any issues
- The platform is fast with no lag time
- The solution is low-overhead (serverless!)
- The platform has trouble with large amounts of data hitting all at once.
- The trade-off to being serverless is that if there are issues, it is harder to investigate the issue.

Pantheon Provides Speed and Peace of Mind
- Usually respond to support tickets within minutes
- Site hosting speed is fantastic
- Upgrades to WordPress and plugins can be managed automatically
- Pricing structure has too large of a jump between Basic and Performance plans
- Have run into issues with prescribed WP updates not working through dashboard and having to do manually.
- Pantheon site dashboard occasionally is unavailable (the site is never affected though)

Simple Website Management.
- It is easy to initiate remote support for host users directly from Pantheon
- The document submodule displays all the documents we've entered on Pantheon and in their original formats
- It converts the financials files into XML files which save us the stress of copying forms and double work.
- Pantheon's online help and forum provide inadequate insights and it takes too long to get assistance from the help desk.
- Lando Dev misses out some data during rebuilds.
