Cost is always a factor when considering any renewal, so we will always see how that compares to other offerings, but we have been pleased with the functionality from Parse.ly. Importantly, it has engaged news teams, and writers can easily assess their own performance--it is not just a management tool. This wider take-up makes it more likely that we would renew.

It does exactly what we need it to, it helps record data and let us interpret it to help shape our goals. Its historical function is brilliant to look back and see what stories of the past week have done well, plus its tagging record to see under specific categories what stories have been high performers.

I can't answer this question because I don't have the power to make those decisions. I believe we should continue to use the software, but I say that not knowing to know what other alternatives are being explored by people in positions higher than mine. In short, my job would be harder without Parse.ly.

I use Parse.ly in the two markets that I oversee in my organization, not for the entire organization, so it is not my decision whether or not it continues to be used by my organization. But based on my various meetings and discussions with the heads of my department, I see no reason why we would discontinue using the product at the moment.

I [was] not [involved] in making this decision. [...] Their content analytics product and functionality [are] very good in the market and we have [spent] enough time implementing it. We will definitely renew Parse.ly and it will be win-win situation for both.
