It is informative, easy to navigate and clear and easy to understand. The site is definitely user-friendly and allows you to find out a great deal about the traffic your website is generating and much more besides. It is well-presented and provides in-depth information that you may not have previously been aware of.

Parse.ly offers a great user experience that is intuitive, its interface clean and clear. This is important when coming back time and time again to use, offering a smooth performance with the ability to easily pick up how to navigate and find the data you are looking for. Its homepage is clear, with just a few clicks allowing you to search and seek out more focused data.

Most functions in Parse.ly are readily understandable with virtually no training. You do not need to be a web developer to use it--it simply enables you to study performance and gives you a clear overview of what is trending on your site and how your daily performance compares to usual. The reports function is relatively straightforward to set up, with a bit of trial and error. The search bar makes it easy to check up on a particular story.

It is really simple to set up and use and for social media, can instantly give you results as to how well posts are performing. There is a lot of Parse.ly still to understand in other areas, and a lot of features I’ve still untested, but its convenience and ability to track UTM codes gives me a lot more data to understand and refer back to.

Intuitive user interface that is easy to navigate. The platform also provides actionable insights that are easy to understand and implement. However, there is still room for improvement in some areas such as report customization and data export options.

Parse.ly is a fairly intuitive and user-friendly system, and even without the need for training, the basics can be picked up fairly easily. The more you use it, the more you are likely to get out of its functionality and features - there's a lot it can be asked to do with your data.

The UX is not intuitive and there are a lot of steps between changing and altering displays - I used it for nearly a year before finding out I could save filtered searches to display just the site sections I oversee. Setting up the saved searches is clunky and slow and can't be changed.

I gave this rating because my experience with Parse.ly so far has only helped me understand what my readers prefer and how much time are they willing to spend on reading my work. It has also helped me to understand how the readers react to certain articles and allows me to deliver content that is more user-friendly and keeps them coming back to the company's platform.

The Parse.ly platform is very user-friendly and easy to use. User management is simple, and reporting setup only takes a few minutes. They provide very helpful documentation for implementing the scripts on your site and have great customer support to help with custom development such as implementing their content recommendation engine.

Positives (among others): - The leaderboard function gives a clear, real-time daily picture of which stories are performing best and which channels have been used to read them. - The data given overall is informative and forms the basis of a clear plan for the newsroom. Negatives (among others): - Its appearance can make it seem daunting and less welcome than other software, like Chartbeat. - Data, particularly in the campaign tab, is often associated [with] channels with names made of jumbled letters and words resembling hyperlinks. The software could be improved by making it clearer what each of these names [is], allowing newsrooms a better opportunity to analyze.

Compared to the two other web traffic analytics tools used by my organization, Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics, Parse.ly is a much easier and faster tool. Parse.ly can pull information almost immediately, while Adobe and Google usually need 10-30 seconds to pull data, in my experience. Co-workers and clients who do not use web traffic analytics tools can understand and digest data shown on Parse.ly much more easily than Adobe and Google, in my experience, thanks to the interface.

They still have some room for improvements on reporting, matrices, and [the] dashboard. Also, they should implement defensive [checks] on their API, so during any circumstances, if API is down, it should give fallback data, and [the] user should get [a seamless] experience. They are [the] best in the industry for those functionalities.

We have to come to rely on it so that reporters can gauge interest in stories and perhaps do a follow up on it to garner even more traction. It is an indispensable tool in today’s digital journalism profession, which is all about clicks and engagement and number counts.
