We have not used Impressions. But I do conduct new hire surveys each month to our new employees. This is a great feedback tool for me and my managers to see how things are going. It helps us realize anything we missed with training.
We use community for announcements and postings. This is a great tool that gets information out to the employees quickly.

Community has been a huge benefit of Paylocity. Employees post pictures of company events, send shout-outs, and get recognized for anniversaries and birthdays.

The availability of these tools has changed the scope of what we do with regard to these topics. Previously, we were not known for prioritizing these types of things, whereas now, it is easy to see the importance we place on them.

We have used the surveys, as anonymous response, however, employees continue to feel as if its not anonymous and hesitate to respond, especially since you must logon into the tool to access the survey, it does add considerable doubt. Maybe the anonymous surveys would be a generic link, not requiring a logon?

My employees are able to use the time and labor portion of the application which make it more self sufficient It is easy enough to navigate through the application and my employees seem to get the most out of the application. I don't hear of any complaints which makes it a plus for me being the controller.

Because our organization uses so many third-party tools, our staff is not used to logging into Paylocity. This has hindered our ability to use these tools to communicate with staff. We're working on improving this.

Employees love being able to see Announcements on the Community module and being able to respond. Their dashboard is comprehensive and easy to look at. The leave tracking is easy to navigate and allows them to spend much less time than the old way of leave tracking by filling out a form and getting it approved.

Not many of our employees use this, or the employee self service portal in general, even though they are well aware of it. I believe it is the nature of our business. Approximately 95% of our employees work in the client's home and have little exposure to other employees, even the administrative staff of the remote office they are assigned to.

We have a long-used SharePoint home page for our organization where we do more of the things that Community and Impressions are designed for, so we don't utilize these tools that much. Surveys, however, have provided a big benefit as we send out multiple surveys per year to track employee satisfaction as well as other things. We love the Surveys function!

My companies have not spent a lot of time in this area. We currently use a third party for employee recognition. This goes back to me being a one person show, with not a lot of time to explore other areas that are considered "nice to have's." I will do better to spend some more time this next year looking into other areas.
