I am in charge of all the data input & payroll for three companies within our organization. A few of the business problems are as follows from my experience. 1.) Untrained & inexperienced Paylocity employees. 2.) The timeliness to resolve issues is unacceptable, weeks to months. 3.) The "Verify Tax" system is incorrect & unreliable. 4.) I have never spoken with my so-called account representative the entire time I've been with this company totaling almost 3 years. 5.) Getting a hold of anyone outside of the service department is unheard of. For instance, speaking with someone in the tax department. 6.) Never get to speak with the same customer service representative so you have to go over and explain yourself multiple times if it doesn't get resolved in the original call. 7.) The website is not user-friendly for administrators or employees using the Self-Service Portal. 8.) The look or organization of screens isn't easy on the eyes. Meaning it's hard to review screens as the information is way too spread out. Reviewing timecards is a great example of this. 9.) Following the benefits balance history is very unclear. 10.) Reviewing multiple checks individually on the pay tab is a complete hassle, you can't just click next. I could go on, but this is plenty of instances/experiences I've had using Paylocity as our payroll TPA just within the last 3 years of my 9 years in total, using their service.

I use Paylocity mainly for the Recruiting feature. Candidates apply to our positions that we have posted though Paylocity, I review resumes, screen candidates, and move them along the interview process into the offer phase. I use this section of Paylocity my entire work day. I also use Paylocity to review my own self service portal, request time off, and other HR features that I have access to.

Paylocity is currently being used for all HR and Payroll purposes. We manage accounts for multiple companies with different FEIN’s and this platform allows us to run reports for all companies and manage skills, education and training. The separate companies are all within the same umbrella, and community allows account managers the ability to communicate with a widespread group of employees using one media channel. We are also able to utilize various tracking items such as OSHA reporting, incident tracking, benefit deductions, earnings, etc.

I was recently involved with implementing Onboarding thru Paylocity at our Company. I found the platform to be very user-friendly and help was always available thru a phone call or email. I have never set-up this type of system and continue to be impressed with the scope of work we can do in Paylocity. The recent Elevate Conference was a tremendous resource for learning and improving on the practices we have already implemented. We are looking forward to implementing more and more Paylocity features in our company. We are opening a new location in upcoming months and will add another 50-60 employees in another state. Paylocity will make it possible for us to have efficient, effective onboarding and seamless record keeping. Looking forward to learning and implementing more and more tools in Paylocity.

We just transitioned to Paylocity in July. We're using them for time clock management via tablets, HR and payroll, onboarding, performance, and COBRA. We've integrated Employee Navigator with Paylocity, and our first payroll with the new insurance deductions will be December 2.

We utilize Paylocity as our HRIS solution. We use the onboarding, benefits, Time & Labor, HR & Payroll and Performance Tracking modules. We are able to direct employees to their employee self-service portals to make adjustments to their tax and direct deposit setups, as well as obtaining check stubs or tax forms, which cuts down on requests we would need to handle. The benefits and time tracking feed directly into the payroll system so there is no need to manually input or upload data. It's very convenient to have everything in one place.

In my experience, overnight shifts cause timecard issues that Paylocity software does not seem to be able to handle. We dislike being reassigned account manager frequently without talking with us and they seem to have less knowledge. In my opinion, account managers do not have consistent knowledge and we have caught them lying.

When I decided to use Paylocity and switch from our prior payroll software is mainly due to the ACA side and how much easier it was to use in Paylocity. The longer I use Paylocity the more I like it. I do wish our employees would engage it what it offers for them but we are a mixed group of older and younger generations, and the older out weigh the younger.

I had an excellent trainer and person to help set up Paylocity and that makes a world of difference. The sales rep at the time followed up and made sure I was being taken care of. I don't know if everyone has had the same experience because the sales rep, and trainer can make or break if one continues to use the system.

We just switched our ATS to Paylocity and it has been good! We have been using Paylocity for payroll and HR for a while now, and the onboarding process cannot be easier! Having candidates from the time they submit an application to when they get hired with us all in one place is great and super easy!!

We use it for all payroll and HRIS, recruiting, expense, benefits, HSA, LMS, onboarding, and time tracking. We try to implement as many things as possible into Paylocity. This is the main source for all employees. Managers do not have much scope besides Time and Labor but that is how we operate nothing against Paylocity. I helped implement and am one of the main Paylocity Administrators for our company
