Pendo is a product experience platform that helps software product teams deliver products users love. With Pendo, product teams can answer questions like which features are customers using? Pendo is well suited for you if you are looking for a plug-and-play on-platform messaging tool where technical experience isn't required to launch guides. After the initial installment, your marketing team will be able to manage this tool from a content perspective. We have decided not to proceed with Pendo for our mobile app, due to the fact that they are not fully compatible with Flutter.

Best suited for the following: Path analytics, where I can track behavioral patterns of the users and see their user journey, and the tracking features for events are also easy since we have in-app messaging and prompts at the right time. Additionally, it is best suited for adding guides and workflows to simplify the user experience and increase customer stickiness.

Since we implemented our strategy of product development for our application based on the opinion of our customers, and current users, the importance of getting feedback, and collecting information about the opinion of the users appear to be a crucial part of our working process. This is fixed by Pendo.io and the breadth of the features it provides.

Pendo.io works a lot better than the previous software we were using. It has made it easier to prioritize the feedback that we receive and has allowed our users to better be able to voice their opinions and the opinions of clients. We can much more easily keep track of the history of requests and we are able to see what has been thought about in the past to make better iterations for the future.

If you are using a SaaS tool, Pendo.io is the perfect tool to analyse users, their behaviours and how to make your platform better, where to put more focus by gaining valuable insight. The analytics tool it offers is also a great addition which makes this tool stand out. We managed to make our platform much better focused on what our users are looking for and what their main interest is.

If you need a low/no-code solution for deploying surveys and customer feedback forms then Pendo.io is a fantastic option. It has a very user-friendly and intuitive UI that makes creating, customising and releasing these features. This is perfect if this domain is controlled by non-engineering teams, such as Product, Design or Marketing. Pendo's value add doesn't stop there - it makes consuming this data very simple with very clear and clean dashboards and reports. Filtering and pulling insights on this data is surprisingly easy and intuitive. Perhaps the best aspect of Pendo.io is it's setup - creating events and features, and assigning those to pages, behaviors and groups is a breeze... no technical expertise needed at all.

Pendo is best suited for companies with a UX department that is willing to take the time to set up the Feature and Page tracking analytics or a dev team that is willing to assist UX in that. It's also a great way to start showing trends to stakeholders in order to start tracking baseline success metrics if your company has not done that before.

Pendo has helped us validate usage and leverage more detailed persona and feature reporting. This is incredibly helpful in combating anecdotal opinions within our organization. Plus very helpful in communicating usage to other departments (specifically our executive team and board). Lot of deeper options and tools we're planning to roll out.

Pendo profoundly changed how our product, services, sales, and marketing teams have all been able to interact with our customers. The way we were able to connect with our customers, was so difficult before (emails, calls). It makes so much sense to meet the customers where they are within our products.

When you have a SaaS product or any web-based application/product that needs some kind of walkthrough or guide, Pendo.io is a fantastic tool because it provides you with a way to lead the customer through your product. For complex or even rather simple sites, Pendo.io makes for a great addition because you decide how much control/expertise you want the customer to have.

Pendo is great for getting to know your customers, gathering feedback about your products, getting them to onboard in your products. I think room for improvements is the reporting/dashboards side, you can get so much data into Pendo, it would be useful to have some templates or easy guides about what reports to setup, how to read the data.

Just a great all-around tool. This is the third company in which I've used the product. (I bring it with me wherever I go.) I'd recommend it to any Product Manager who really wants to understand how their product is being used (or not used). I can't think of a reason not to use it other than it can be a little expensive for a small organization.

[Pendo.io] is great to get insights on where and how users use your site. [Pendo.io] is great because it's easy to use and is always tracking everything, even if you haven't tagged something specifically. If you are trying to do step by step guides for training on how to use a site, I have used more robust tools for that. It also doesn't record user sessions like others, if you're wanting to actually watch a recording of someone using your site.

It is useful for tracking usage and clicks within an application but not suited to keeping track of the usage of API calls in the codebase. Sometimes our buttons appear the same on the front end but make different API calls on the back end, and we haven't been able to account for these differences that take place behind the scenes.

If you are an enterprise that is heavily reliant on site traffic to achieve your business goals (such as industries that provide web services), it is imperative that you have deep levels of analytics available to you to determine how users are using your site's features. Pendo.io provides that deeper layer of understanding how users are using your site by providing comprehensive data points on where users are navigating to on your sites.

Pendo is good for any company that has their own tools where they need to measure engagement stats and how often their platform is being utilized. It is good for companies to get insight into if their tool is being used and the data needs to be accessible and downloaded quickly. I'm not sure if they do this but it doesn't seem like Pendo is well suited to be a CRM for companies entire book of business to maintain all of [the] details of a contract and/or client, but for our specific use case of measuring usage and even some data visualization it does well.

Pendo.io is a great option if you want to start fast just putting a script and starting tracking things inside your platform. Great to understand how visitors are moving around your tool between pages and what are they clicking. Easy to build funnel and path reports to discover and understand where there could be issues or things to improve.

We use Pendo.io to create lightboxes for certain product announcements. If we want a customer to take a survey we will use Pendo.io to create a lightbox and put the link to the survey in there. Pendo.io also has the ability to save segmented lists for us so we can survey smaller groups of our customers instead of bothering our entire customer base. This is nice if we only care about US-based customers or international customers.
