Pentaho report and Pentaho integration tool have high support service. Resolution time is quick compared to any business software. Customer care is very supportive in terms of providing support for queries and doubts. Excellent outage handling during the weekends. Every business software needs to improve its support like Pentaho software.

Pentaho is an amazing tool, having great flexibility and multiple purpose use, besides ETLs and data process, but it also has room to grow and modernize. The UI and key visuals had only a few updates over time, and the tecnology built could be improved and up to date.

Pentaho's customer support team was one of the best I've ever seen, both from the documentation as from the engineering point of view. In cases when a critical issue related to security or performance was found, the multiple developer teams would change priorities to have them fixed as soon as possible with the next release, making our customers and users, in general, happy and satisfied. Sometimes enterprise customers would have some issues which would require some hot-fixing, and in most cases, the problems would be solved diligently.

We are an Enterprise customer. They handle problems INSTANTLY when they are critical, including initiation an immediate WebEx screen share call when needed. Smaller/less-critical problems are handled within 1-2 days -- and NEVER fall off their radar, no matter how small.

As needed, we can also leverage "professional services" from them -- much of which is included in our Enterprise contract.

Finally, when a problem I have discovered turns out to be a bug..they create a JIRA for the fix, and make me a watcher. I love seeing notes come in showing me status updates of bugs filed because of something I found.

They really are TOP-NOTCH.

They were responsive to our questions when we raised issues.
They gave us workarounds when required.
They were quite knowledgeable when it came to issue analysis and providing fixes.
They were forthright in informing us if a bug was not due for release soon.
