I have been using Pixpa as my online portfolio builder for 1 year and it has been a superb experience with the tools they provide to quickly and easily build my website. After a lot of research, trial and errors, I chose Pixpa as a platform to build my online presence. Being a professional expert in design and photography, Pixpa is an exact match for all my needs from a professional portfolio builder. They have very quick customer service, with typical response time being within 1-2 hours.

The pre-built themes, gallery designs, layouts are wonderful and easy to set up anytime. The user interface is intuitive and super-fun to use. The SEO capabilities are the best amongst all such services out there.

  • Not only have I had a good amount of traffic on my site applauding my work, I even received a lot of quotes asking me for my freelance rates for their design and photography projects.
  • The interface is pretty easy to use and I am always backed up with the awesome support from the Pixpa customer success team, whenever I need it.
Alternatives Considered
I have previously used Wix and Squarespace to build my photography and design portfolio. But I think the way Pixpa portrays my photographs and designs is by far the best in the industry. Pixpa's primary focus revolves around showcasing my photographs and designs, and I see it by far the best in the industry. Moreover, my website loads pretty fast, and this acts as an advantage for them, since most of top website builders are struggling with slower site speed. Pixpa has a very easy interface and compelling templates, better than Squarespace and Wix (I think) along with pre-built content blocks which I can use to build any kind of custom page with the help of their awesome drag-and-drop PageBuilder tool. This saves a lot of my time.

Pixpa is easy to set up. I remember setting it up in one go. It hardly took 1-1.5 hours to put my professional website live. Anyone with senses can easily set up their website with super-ease. Moreover, if you are stuck at some point they have an in-app conversation tool where you can request support.

This is the best part about Pixpa's support. There is no additional cost associated with their support. No matter how big or small the problem is, the customer success and support team does its best to solve the issue on a priority basis. But in all my senses, I believe they won't charge for their support services as this is what distinguishes them from similar services.

There are a lot of website builders out there but the ease that I have with Pixpa is amazing. I can make changes whenever I want, upload images in a flash and have changed my website look multiple times to amaze my regular viewers.

With 40+ beautiful, customizable and responsive themes and a clean and intuitive interface, Pixpa stands out from all such website builders with its focus on simplicity, flexibility & powerful editing features. The control panel is just so easy to work with and the option to choose different gallery layouts for galleries is an add-on. The drag and drop page builder really helps me in customizing my pages the way I want to.

  • Superb Gallery Management & Layouts
  • Add anything with just a drag of your favorite content block. There are more than 300 pre-built content blocks in the PageBuilder which allows you to build any kind of website you want.
Cons
  • Pixpa has a great interface for managing the content on website. But still it has further scope for improvement.
  • Another thing which seems to be missing is a mobile version of the app. It is currently available only for desktop. But they promised a mobile version soon.

Pixpa is very well suited for professional photographers who are either run an independent photography business or those who seek opportunities to earn from their work online. The platform does not only fit the needs of a photographer, it is great for creative pros like creative designers, graphic designers, videographers, or painting artists.
