It has been used as part of managing a web hosting platform for websites. Plesk has helped make administration of more complex tasks within a hosting environment far more easier. Anything from changing mail records through to implementing various CMS platforms has been a snap with Plesk.
  • Implementing various packages/systems
  • Managing hosting settings from a GUI interface
  • Monitoring the hosting environment for any issues
  • Interface Improvement: It is a bit hard to find specific functions
  • Additional integration with third party services would be great
  • categorization of services to make management easier
The Plesk web hosting management platform is well suited for both novice web admins through to experienced technicians. While it allows experienced users to "get under the hood", those that are new to web hosting admin will quickly become comfortable with performing administration processes.

Plesk is used to control a number of our own websites and various external clients' sites also. Most of the sites are WordPress and it's so easy to update multiple sites at once plus it isn't limited to Windows servers only – it supports many different Linux versions also and works with lots of different tools and platforms.
  • Updating plugins
  • Updating CMS all at once
  • More robust mobile version
The ability to securely create and launch a website in a matter of minutes is fantastic and saves heaps of time, plus one-click installers make it even easier, especially if you are using WordPress or Joomla. Easy to use interface and the addition of scheduled tasks saves so much time. Plus, the use of extensions adds lots of features.

We wanted a user-friendly alternative to the famous cPanel for a web server.
It is easier to use and more intuitive, and the dashboard is modern.
There are a handful of valuable integrations, for example, an SEO tool kit and built-in backup functionality.

We can administer WordPress websites, themes and plugins from the dashboard without going into the WordPress backend.
  • Backup Manager
  • Database Manager
  • Plugin Manager
  • Application Manager
  • Better integration with independent WAF tools like Wordfence
  • Create a simple function for staging sites and to push from staging to live
  • Provide function to back-up DNS settings before making changes
Plesk is well suited for SMB/SME companies that provide managed services and website hosting, as you can connect both pieces of this puzzle using the platform. Plesk is the best server management tool currently, and very reasonably priced.

If you're a reseller and want the software to manage multiple client hosting accounts on reliable servers such as AWS or Google, or Digital Ocean, Plesk is a great choice. It's beneficial if your client uses WordPress or Joomla, as it has a lot of direct integrations/tools to support this.

The Plesk Web Host Edition is actually fully loaded with all of the features that Plesk offers, and it allows you to use an unlimited amount of domains.

Plesk allowed our organization to help manage our servers with an intuitive user interface that grew along with us. The platform has a large number of integrations and extensions that can bring in a number of different tasks under one roof. The ability to house our entire platform together in one system has saved us time and money.
  • House server management platform all in one system.
  • Growth and scalability.
  • Time savings and reducing inefficiencies.
  • The system can get a bit cluttered if there are too many integrations set up at once.
  • Implementation took longer than expected.
  • Training and adoption could use some improvement.
Plesk is well-suited when needing to bring in multiple systems and functionality into one platform to help reduce inefficiencies and create continuity throughout the organization. It may not be as useful for large organizations with multiple departments that are unable to work seamlessly together but for a growing organization like ours, it was perfect.

I have come across many web management tools, but please stands out differently the intuitive user interface makes it self explanatory and easy to configure and understand things. I have deployed multiple application using Plesk, it makes love easier as we find all at one place no multiple URL business. Multiple services, lots of extensions and tools makes life easy. As this world is on cloud, Plesk support almost all popular cloud providers. The dashboard give one pit stop to get all info about applications running and it's health. Must try product.
  • Deploy and manage domains
  • Manage multiple applications
  • Manage databases
  • Manage custom mailbox
  • It can have realtime security scanning feature
Managing multiple domains was headache Plesk was good product to do it. Managing multiple servers to deploy applications and keep track of each and every server was difficult hence Plesk helped to get it all together.

When you use Plesk, you have an easy-to-use interface for managing your web content. This tool will help you in many ways, allowing you to increase website functionality and improve your internet presence. It will help to manage multiple websites with ease, have an improved site management, and increase support for your website.
  • Integrated support for Content Management Systems
  • User Friendly Control Panel
  • Provides WordPress Toolkit and several other Extensions
  • Not as feature rich as cPanel
  • WordPress Toolkit
Plesk is a popular control panel for managing VPS or Dedicated servers. It is designed for anyone, regardless of their level of experience and has a user-friendly interface. In addition to this, Plesk also has a large number of extensions so that users can edit and modify their servers to their wants and needs. However, it does not support WHM

Plesk enables us to manage multiple clients on the same server instance with ease. It's managing the creation of zones, file structure, and now even WordPress instances. After sites are up it manages resource utilization, security, and updates with ease.
  • Server management.
  • Web security.
  • WordPress management.
  • Advertisements for extra products are a bit too prevalent.
  • The occasional "bad update" has come through and broken things.
Plesk is really well suited for novices and experts alike. If you're not a person that speaks Linux, networking, or internet protocols - Plesk is perfect for you because it does the back-end work for you.

Sometimes, however, Plesk can be TOO simple and certain high-level tasks or extremely detailed/peculiar use cases can be difficult to maintain with Plesk. For the most part… anything you need to do can be handled by Plesk.

Plesk makes it possible for me to retain better control over my websites. Using specific tools and services, like WordPress Toolkit, I can set up my websites to automatically update templates, plugins, and the CMS system - all in one space! Instead of being forced to log in to each and every website to update templates, plugins, and the CMS, I can update ALL my websites, at one time with a few minor strokes...all from Plesk. These features can be automated to run on a timed schedule, or they can be initiated manually. I love this feature, as it really frees up my time so I can focus on creating and providing website content! I'm able to retain better control of my websites and how they operate, using the Plesk website control panel management system. This frees up my time and allows me to take care of other business activities that need my attention.
  • Automatically update the CMS, plugins, and templates of all your websites, depending on your CMS, all at the same time, with just a few strokes of your keyboard.
  • Enables one to set up a schedule to back up your websites, automatically, and easily download/save the backup files off-site, for safety.
  • Makes it easy for users to use a backup file to reinstall a website, with just a few strokes of the keyboard. Excellent service!
  • Plesk needs to add more free security options (like spam protection, SSL services, etc.) to their control panel, for the protection of a user's website.
  • It would be nice to have access to the Joomla Toolkit for free.
  • Plesk needs to update its database options. They only go up to MariaDB 5.5.68, and several content management systems now require MariaDB 10.2.29, opening up a website to security issues.
Plesk is well-suited for website creators who have been developing websites on a regular basis. If one is new to website development, Plesk could be a bit confusing and difficult to navigate. However, if one has experience on another type of platform, like CP (Control Panel) which is used by other web hosts out there, then it will be much easier to navigate the Plesk panel. Keep in mind there is definitely a learning curve, as Plesk really is quite different. Overall, new users will learn to love the ability to have more control over their websites.
