Podia has become a go-to platform for many users looking to simplify their businesses. One of the main use cases of Podia is hosting online classes. Users have found it convenient to create and manage every aspect of their online courses, allowing them to reach a wider audience and generate income from their expertise. Additionally, users have been able to showcase freebies and digital downloadable products on Podia, enabling them to attract potential customers and provide valuable resources to their audience.

Another key use case of Podia is building a community. Users have successfully created both free and paid communities on the platform, fostering engagement and connection among their audience. The ability to offer coaching services through Podia has also been appreciated by users, as it allows them to provide personalized guidance and support to their clients.

The software has also proven helpful in streamlining businesses by consolidating multiple functions into one platform. This saves users time and money by eliminating the need for separate tools or platforms for different aspects of their business. Furthermore, users have praised Podia's tech support, describing it as prompt and highly efficient. The availability of chat support and quick response to emails have been particularly valued by users.

In terms of transitioning from other platforms, users have successfully migrated their information from other platforms to Podia, allowing them to reconnect with their students and continue offering workshops and classes seamlessly. Overall, Podia offers an affordable solution that simplifies various aspects of businesses such as website building, storefronts, email services, digital courses, and membership sites. By providing an easy-to-use and all-in-one platform, Podia cuts costs while enhancing convenience for its users.

Functional and User-Friendly Platform: Several users have found Podia to be a functional and fairly user-friendly platform. They appreciate how simple it is to use, making it easy to sell digital products and courses quickly. Some reviewers mention that even users who are not professionals at navigating online platforms find Podia accessible.

Easy Setup and Affordable Plans: Many reviewers appreciate how easy it is to set up everything on Podia. They also highlight the affordability of the platform's plans, which do not include any additional fees. This makes Podia a convenient option for beginners or those looking for cost-effective solutions.

Convenient All-in-One Platform: Users love that Podia allows them to sell, email, and blog all in one spot. This convenience saves time and effort by providing an efficient way to manage multiple aspects of their business. Additionally, several reviewers describe Podia as an all-in-one platform for creators to showcase their products, information, and stories while generating passive income through email, community, and membership features.

Limited customization options: Some users have expressed frustration with the limited customization options in Podia. They feel that the platform does not offer enough flexibility to personalize sales pages, websites, and digital programs according to their specific needs.

Lack of advanced email features: Several reviewers have mentioned that they find the email options in Podia to be lacking. They have expressed a desire for more advanced features such as customization for broadcasts and group emails, as well as the ability to use their brand font.

High cost: The price of Podia has been a concern for some users. While they acknowledge that pricing can vary depending on individual needs, they feel that it is relatively high compared to similar platforms. Some users would like to see more affordable options or a free version with certain limitations to test out the functionality before committing.

I am a sleep coach for parents of young babies and toddlers with clients all over the world. I am also an instructor; I teach professionals how to use my methods/approach. I use Podia as my website host to attract new clients and instruct parents. I need my website to showcase free resources such as my blog, social media, articles on other websites, a Facebook Group and my podcast. I also use it to design and host my digital programs and workshops.

When I signed up with Podia, I needed an affordable platform that offered a website builder, a storefront for selling my digital products and coaching services, email services, and a place to build my digital courses and a membership site. I used to use 4 sites for all of these needs and it was expensive. Switching to Podia cut my costs dramatically. It's very convenient and they are always adding new features and trying to improve what they offer.
  • Web Builder
  • Storefront
  • Digital course creator
  • Bundling workshops/programs
  • easy to update and add to my website
  • customer service is awesome
  • I sometimes wish there was more that I could customize on my website and digital programs
  • I wish their email service (for broadcasts/group emails) had more features and customization
  • I would like to use my brand font
In my experience, Podia has been well suited in every way! I am a small company with a couple of independent contractors, and I don't know how to build my own website. I am not very techy. I get lots of compliments on how my website looks! I have had some people support me with setting up my group emails for my email list and setting up automations, and these techy people complained that they needed to do more customization in the email formatting and programming, so I switched to Mailchimp for those needs. Otherwise, I have been very happy with Podia and I am grateful to have a platform that offers so many services/features. It's affordable and user friendly. My clients and students are happy using it, too.

  • Increased sales by $8000 from January to June (Added 2 more programs quickly and easily)
  • Saved almost a thousand dollars in the first year in costs by switching to Podia
  • Improved customer satisfaction by using 1 site instead of 4
Kajabi had lots of features all in one place. I liked their digital course creator program. I liked the ease of their their membership site program/host, too. It had an app for my clients to use. There were some problems with not being able to customize the look of pages, but they allowed coding/programming if you had training, so I sometimes hired someone to do that for me. I couldn't figure out how to use their website builder, so I didn't do much there. When it came down to it, I could use Podia and it was cheaper and easier to use.

GoDaddy was my website host for a few years. I did a lot on there. It was my website builder and host and I liked it. It was easy to use. My website looked great. It had more features than Podia with blogging and connecting to social media. I had a storefront but it wasn't great for selling digital products. Back then, it wanted to show my inventory and shipping options, which don't apply for services and digital products. I did a little with my digital courses on there, but in the end, I liked other sites better for this. It didn't work out.

Weebly was just a starting point for me when I create my first digital course. I liked how it looked and it was easy to build, but there are better options for this sort of thing now.
