Privia licensing can be a bit pricey, but it is very much a situation where you get what you pay for. It is a unique and specialized tool for collaboration that is not fully matched in the community. There are other tools that can do parts and pieces of what Privia does, but you will be hard pressed to find a solution that will cover both the depth and breadth Privia covers.

I recently switched careers from working within the consulting world of Federal Government Contracts to International Sales and Global Solutions. Though we do work with proposals to a certain extent, our company does require a more robust system that includes a document repository, business analytic tools, project management tools that reflect our process and lifecycles, and corporate tools.

Privia has proved, uniformly, to be an asset. I look forward to my next experience with it. While, as I stated, users can feel advance trepidation when using Privia, those problems evaporate immediately when Privia is activated.

There are more user friendly tools out there. I don't see a real benefit on using it for proposal besides the way that it organizes files. I think another file sharing software with a good set up and admin could do the same or better job.
