Procore lacks customization, but fits 90% of construction
- Trimble ProjectSight (ProLog) and Autodesk Bim 360
We came from ProLog, and the biggest thing here is collaboration. Whether it is from the field or external, ProLog had zero collaboration options. Our strongest contender when choosing Procore was Bim 360 (or Autodesk Cloud), we in the end decided this product wasn't fully developed and ready for our business.

Procore Electrical Contractor Review

Easy to use and cost effective.
I believe Bluebeam Revu has several more bells and whistles compared to Esticom. However I believe the simplicity of Esticom was its biggest selling point to me. It is extremely easy to use and even easier to train others on how to use it. I also believe it has a better price point.

Robust project management platform ideal for collaboration.
Procore has a lot of the functionalities of its competitors such as Building Connected and iSqFt. I would say that Building Connected was the most user friendly but in the end, Procore has a more robust platform.

Procore Review for New Users
I was a project engineer with about 8 or more projects under me at any time with several different General Contractors. Many of them use Procore so integration between contractors is pretty painless. But when they use Dropbox or others sometimes it gets tedious to download and upload everything. Harder for distribution lists to get across to everyone that needs to be on them. Drawings are not always up to date etc. Procore is by far the best!

Procore from Implementation side
When we looked into all possible construction management software, we thought we would find a 100% match for our company, but that's not the case. Every company has its way of doing construction, and there's no such thing as a perfect match, but Procore, with its wide range of tools, indeed comes close to perfect.

Saving time and frustration with Procore
Procore is a lot cleaner and more user friendly. We conducted an experiment with Procore where we handed it to a foreman that is close to retirement and had never seen or used Procore before. We asked him to find the water closet submittal for a WC-1. From the time when he was handed the iPad to when he handed it back showing the correct submittal was a little over a minute.
Procore is easier to use than the competition. It is built for intuitive use and not needing a lot of training for end users. It does all of the things it promises to do, including accounting, but doesn't seem to be an accounting software tweaked for project management. Their development and training teams are responsive and helpful and are in fact looking for feedback, not trying to ignore it. They don't believe that they have a perfect product, which means that they are in the business of improving. There is not any comparison.
We tried integrating eSUB into the company a few years ago, but the lack of customization options just made it too difficult. We would have had to change up the way we do almost every process. Procore, on the other hand, offers a lot of customization and that has made the integration process very smooth.
Autodesk Bim 360 is lesser than Procore in my opinion. That's because it is less commonly used and team members need to understand the product before they can jump into action. Almost all of our projects use Procore, which makes it easy for me to search for projects all in on space. Autodesk Bim 360 is also harder to search because every time you change the word you are searching your arrow moves away from the search brand you need to move it again to the enter button- usually comes up when searching submittals.

Procore - A Project Manager's View
Procore is very much the industry-standard software, I personally preferred using field wire because it was considerably more user-friendly for field operators to understand. Procore is utilized more readily between different trades, so often we would see Procore to be better when you are bringing multiple teams under one project

That was easy! - Our Field Chose Procore
We evaluated both PlanGrid and Procore at the same time in the field. We had numerous users in each. We implemented both products. Even paid PlanGrid to train. (Procore implementation is free.) Our teams on PlanGrid abandoned their projects within 2 months and begged to be placed in Procore. We allowed the field to decide which product they wanted to use. The common comment from the field was, "Procore was easy."
Procore allows multiple team members to work together from different locations and access all the documents and project reports. The Engineering files and various information can also be handled securely and easily through the Procore data management environment. The estimates are accurate and easy scheduling and risk management on Procore are excellent.

Procore is an excellent software for contractors
We previously used more manual entry methods, i.e. locally stored files; printed, physical documents; disjointed systems. Using Procore allowed us to pull all of our resources together in one program and greatly simplified the way information is accessed and processed out in the field. Procore has made a major impact on how we do all aspects of our jobs.

Builder's Club Procore Review
I used Primavera in college and Procore is leaps and bounds better. Procore is easy to use and very organized. Procore also has many different uses whereas other programs tend to be task specific.

Builder's Club Procore Review
It is not as "clean" looking as Procore is. Procore seems to be much more organized.
Procore was the first platform we witnessed that appeared to be designed by, or at least in tandem, with construction professionals. The tool itself fits in with how construction operations staff currently do their work and require minimal training in order to roll-out. We also found that because the language and seamless connectivity between tools within Procore was easy to understand, the adoption and uptick in usage was monumental in our organization

Procore from a subcontractor's eyes
- FabTrol and FabSuite
I inherited Procore when I started working here. I had previously used FabTrol Pro to aid in document control and project management. Tekla EPM is the software of choice for project management here. Procore was brought in to maybe take over as the sole software for all management areas. The issue with that is FabTrol and FabSuite are both directed at the structural steel industry. Procore was made to be a more generic construction management software. Over the last 2-3 years, Procore has made a hard push to become better suited to work with subcontractors and it is becoming more appealing to a broader audience.
