Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We have automated many functions but our best project was automating the purchasing process. Prior to Procurify, we used spreadsheet templates for every purchase, then these were signed off on various levels, then would then need to be retyped into a PO, retyped into accounting to pay bills and there was no clean way to monitor the process.
With Procurify, requesters choose items from a catalog or input a one-time purchase. Approvals are routed to approvers (I approve on my mobile phone anywhere in the world). PO's are then auto-created and sent. Purchasing marks item arrivals (which are auto-sent to requesters). Bills are matched against what has actually arrived. Bills are then imported into Quickbooks for payment. Could not be better!
