Planview Projectplace is in many respects a unique solution than LiquidPlanner. Pricing is a role, too. Projectplace Planview isn't expensive when LiquidPlanner is a little bit expensive. Planview Projects are customer-specific and include a broad array of management plans. Overall if we see by feature-wise and price-wise the Planview Projectplace is one of the good and effective solutions for all types of business.

[In my experience] Jira is more refined, better looking, and easier to become familiar with. Also, the massive market share of Jira helps in consultancy as you can switch between clients easily. Projectplace has many powerful tools but so does Jira, and Jira integrates with our suite of software much easier compared to Projectplace.

Slack is a wonderful product - I use it daily - but it's better suited for communication between employees in different places. Microsoft Project is a behemoth, the software is has a steep learning curve. Planview Projectplace was easy to jump into, and designed to handle any project you throw at it.

Planview Projectplace is unique with its most integrated features that include version management, in-built roadmap tool and KPI's. Users are able to create a custom Key performance Indicators(KPI). It supports drag and drops features, where users are able to drag and drop the project initiatives, and assign them according to the priorities set, add assign risk and so on.

Most of these others don't have many of the features that are available in Planview Projectplace. The agile methodology is in a true sense covered by Planview Projectplace, not by Asana nor Wrike. In Confluence, one has to link up with Jira for full functionality, but in Projectplace that is not the case. We can also integrate other software with [Planview Projectplace] and they work well with it, but that is not so with the above-mentioned tools.

Planview is providing better services than GanttPRO. The user feedback to improve Planview Projectplace and constantly do monthly updates is a strong benefit of the software that I felt. I also found the software more effective and efficient when it comes to the planning of tasks and schedules. Other than that, the schedule overview is quite helpful and user-friendly.

Planview Projectplace is a comprehensive project management application compared to its competition. I have used Trello & Basecamp their user interface is a bit easy compared to Projectplace. Also, they offer integration with some relevant applications. Their pricing is also flexible as compared with Planview Projectplace. But, Planview Projectplace's reporting and collaboration features are better than the rest.

It is powerful and a nice app that can be used to manage and store different types of projects in one place, share files and resources within the organization, and also with dispersed teams. It really helps in keeping teams on track.

Planview's best feature above all the project planning products is its ability to work in all the methodologies. Scheduling is also a cakewalk when it comes to PV and personally I have found it to be more easier when compared to MS Project or HP PPM.

As already mentioned, Planview Projectplace includes both Kanban board and Gantt charts which is quite uncommon feature on the market. Very often it is a matter of personal taste regarding which software solution suites all our needs in the most complete way, but based on our involvement Planview Projectplace really has it all.

Microsoft Project has more features than Planview Projectplace but can be a bit difficult to get used to. I find that Projectplace is a balance between Asana and Microsoft Projects in terms of features. Projectplace shines in its ability to handle large projects better han Asana would, whereas Microsoft Project is the standard for enterprise project management.
