So far we have had an excellent return of investment with high performance and low latency. Pre-sales and after-sales support have been very positive.

During a firmware upgrade procedure, support has identified a lack of redundancy on one of our hosts by communicating and providing time to resolve the issue without interruption of service. This was a proactive attitude. We had trouble with UEFI boot. Support reported as soon as the option was made available for the firmware to be updated.

Pure Storage FlashArray Review
We use Pure as our primary storage array. This has been an outstanding investment and the performance has been a huge improvement. The box has done everything we asked it to do! We are nearly out of storage capacity on our EMC and when we saw Pure as an option we jumped at the opportunity.

I believe that Pure has set itself way ahead of its competition in the storage market, you could probably find something faster but it will lack in ease of use. You could pay less for something but it will lack a key feature that Pure offers. It is hard to find something like Pure!

All of our virtual machines are on this array so each user uses it whether they know it or not. When systems work the way they are intended then users tend to ask fewer questions. We have had no major issues so users are able to do what they need to do.

My infrastructure team does our in-house support. We are lucky to be on a system that requires less internal work to keep it running as planned. I am very impressed with the limited lift that this system requires in keeping systems online for all types of users. They love it.

We replaced our Dell EMC, we were ahead of schedule when it comes to the usage on the EMC. We had to make a decision on what to do and this by far made the most sense and it has paid off significantly. I would absolutely do it again.

It has been everytime we asked. Whether it was a challenge with extending a volume and LUN or upgrading the software. They take the time to make sure you are comfortable with the plan and then execute very smoothly. They are the model of how support should be offered.

This hardware and software is outstanding. I have been blessed with next to no issues with this system. The software updates are easy to execute and the support team is outstanding. It does cost a bit more than some options but you get every bit of what you pay for.

My Pure Storage Experience
Pure Storage is used by the entire organization to host Microsoft SQL Server 2019 database as well as hosting multiple VM's. Pure Storage is extremely efficient for fast database OTLP & OLAP processing. Data duplication allows us to host many copies of the database and duplicate VM's for production, testing and development. Pure Storage has completely changed and improved our entire development. Things that used to take hours and days have turned into seconds and minutes.

We have performed firmware upgrades, controller upgrades, model upgrades (/M to /X), storage shelf additions, drive swaps (SAS to NVME) and storage pack increases, drive replacements, and NVRAM module swaps . Don't focus only "replacement" cost only. Look at other costs that will be reduced such as storage maintenance, down time. Look at things that will increase: Performance, productivity, reliability. You will sleep better knowing Pure will be up and running everyday.

Late at night we got an alert that a drive was predicted to go bad. We didn't even have to call support, a replacement drive was already in our hands that morning.
