Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We had multiple brands that were quite separate so we wanted an email marketing software which allowed us to create audiences for the brands as well as cross sell and up sell opportunities. Previous to this we only sent emails manually which didn’t allow for any comprehensive analytics to create learnings.

Pros

  • Analytics
  • Interface
  • Audiences

Cons

  • Dara enrichment
  • Data cleansing
  • AI Ideation

Return on Investment

  • Increase efficiency
  • Reduce manual design time
  • Better reporting to allow for better return

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used the application for our email marketing campaigns which also included automation.

Within the email we used there ai functionality to populate elements within the email to showcase trending products or should the user have an account and some sort of purchase or search history... The application would use personalisation to target the user better.

Pros

  • Email marketing
  • Personalised
  • Integration to CRM

Cons

  • UX
  • Simplify the interface
  • More tutorials

Return on Investment

  • ROI was noticeable
  • Reports were a bit simple
  • Vast functionality made it like a maze to find/do something in new

Great WISYWIG but there are some flaws that need improving

Pros

  • Easy and intuitive drag and drop design
  • Good design templates
  • Great customer support

Cons

  • Uptime - the server has gone done before when an email had just been sent out which meant that recipients could not click on links
  • Automation add-on was extremely expensive considering the additional capabilities it was adding
  • Login process - every time I logged in had to use an authorization email. Good security, but unnecessary for EVERY SINGLE login
  • No auto-save or save button in the email builder - would have to click off the screen to save, which meant that if the window crashed, there was no way to rescue work. All it needs is a save button!

Return on Investment

  • Attracted new business through newsletters
  • Helped to drive downloads on content when running campaigns (infographic, report, free trial set up was particularly effective
