Quantum Metric is used in digital analytics or by any teams interested to report or monitor user sessions and KPIs trends in real-time or historically. The information is converted to charts, funnels, and other LPI trends for the webs and web applications.
  • It's the most reliable tool we have in use to replay and explore user sessions from the last 3 months in web and web applications to find errors in APIs, UI or UX.
  • it's used by my team in digital analytics to check error trends on the user sessions as well as to review charts, dashboards, and funnels to monitor trends on global scale or by country.
  • Another useful solution is the heatmaps for the web and web applications since these interactions are used by engineering to help to develop the products.
  • We can see up to 3 months' worth of user sessions it would be nice to increase that limit.
  • If you can enhance filters to do more robust comparisons it would be something to look for in the future.
It's a good troubleshooting tool to identify and monitor API or event issues for webs and web applications and to check dashboards related to business KPIs for those platforms. It is not as robust as other analytics tools if what you want is to monitor more complex funnels, KPI and KPOs.
  • It is one of the main tools used by the business so it has a high return investment if the business is related to web or web applications.
  • With a global infrastructure and changes, we have constant updates in the applications and on the websites so it's nice to have technical support that available when the framework needs to get in sync and this has become one of the important aspects in which is reliability and availability.
I have used other tools like Dynatrace. Quantum Metric is better suited to look for errors and spot issues in user sessions, it has a more friendly UI.
Great technical support and they are available when is needed and you can even chat with them.

Quantum is being used by a wide range of teams, from digital analytics, digital fraud, customer service operations and any team reporting issue with the digital platforms

Quantum is a user friendly application however a person must have an idea of how an application communicates with other applications via web or app and should have ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy or develop some skill because not everything is obvious when looking for issues.

They should have an idea of how to relate some applications logs to the company backend logs and how to tell a story based on the findings to technical teams. Also it could be important to have understanding of programming as many error with UI or code must be understood to communicate the information properly.

  • report issues that are not understood by non technical teams
  • another case use is to perform issue triage, it is part of the process to find and define errors or issues with user sessions or patterns at a regional or country level.
  • it is used as well to check trends and dashboards created by us to find error code spikes, and perform funnel analysis based on user sessions or country data
  • We have used Quantum to help detecting server issues by mapping error such as error 0 when there is 500 coming from the servers
  • A custom search allow us to find user using uncommon parameters such as a phone number or QM session ID, or Amplitude tags which is very helpful when little information is given or when we cannot find sessions by regular means.
  • as more teams are involved such as development and analytics teams, quantitative data is needed to be able to show there is an issue before is even investigated further
Quantum is a nice tool and is user friendly however I believe there always room for improvement.

We have experienced minor issues with a few sessions which were solved by Quantum support reps in a timely manner and some of the dashboards are not as robust as other tools we use

QM is one of the tools that my team uses day in / day out for troubleshooting customer issues, replaying customer session and finding various technical issues experienced by our customers. Its a go-to tool not just for the replay session feature but also for daily reporting, and funnels. QM has taken a giant leap in integrating with other tools such as Amplitude, TopBox, Splunk, Evergage etc. We have been able to troubleshoot a wide range of issues affecting the customers and make changes in our user interface, product design, and content. Seamless integration with the web and app.
  • Filter for specific events, errors our customers received and seeing the overall impact.
  • Integration with other tools.
  • Fast replay.
  • QM team takes feedback and help resolve issues faster and also implement new features.
  • Dashboard and reporting.
  • Alerts.
  • Reporting on specific customer segments.
  • Retention of customer replay sessions for a longer duration.
The customer replay session is the main core of this tool. We have identified many issues which could only be possible while replaying sessions. One of the other big advantage of this tool is the integration with other tools.
It is not suited or a replacement for an analytics tool, but for basic analytics it is fine.
  • Had identified some major issues while replaying sessions which help reduce operational cost, and reduce the volume to the call center.
I have used some other replay products which were not as good when compared to QM. QM is fast ,responsive and easy to use.
QM support is exceptional. Just drop them a note and it is acknowledged and resolved within a day!
We selected Quantum Metric for its great user experience, fast replay and easy reporting.
