QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is a widely-used accounting and business management software designed for small to mid-sized companies. Enterprise is the most powerful of the QuickBooks solutions, with core accounting features plus customizable reporting, financial dashboards and advanced tools to manage employees, payments and different locations. Features include inventory management and order fulfillment from start to finish, job costing for end-to-end tracking of construction projects, and advanced pricing controls with integrated inventory.

Built to scale with companies, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise enables up to 40 users, and has over 200 3rd party integrations including industry specific apps. Dedicated versions for construction, manufacturing and wholesale, retail, nonprofit, and professional services are available as is hosting for remote access. Being able to have 2 companies open at once helps tremendously in the intercompany accounting that has to occur. Then being able to send all that information to our CPA firm annually for their review is very efficient and improves our decision making, having up to date information.

When you have clients assigned on your end, you'll see the reporting in your dashboard which gives you an overview on what would the client need and what would the client could take as options. Moreover, since we also provide consultations, these charts help us to provide visual aids to the clients when presenting.

As explained in the previous sections, in my experience, it does not add efficiency at all. I believe the fact that QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has a semi monopoly in this line of software makes it difficult to make higher end decisions to switch to another application. Also, in my experience, the transition to another application has been made very difficult to near impossible by QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has become a centralized financial management solution for our medical office. With the customized reporting features, we are able to see past trends make informed predictions, and know exactly where money is coming from and going to.

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise has great tracking and reporting capabilities which has made communicating financial info with our board of directors easy and efficient. Because of this, the board is well equipped to make financial decisions and feel confident that the info they are provided is accurate. It has also increased efficiency by having everything in one place and being easy to use.

Well when mistakes are made you know who made the mistake and can address issues and training where you need it. Without audit trail this would be difficult when you have a team of accountants.
