Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

Our company currently uses both of these platforms. In my opinion, QuickBooks Online Advanced has more capabilities than Xero, but Xero is more aesthetically pleasing. The biggest difference is the QuickBooks Online Advanced payroll processing and payroll tax filings. With QuickBooks Online Advanced these are built in directly to the software rather than having to "add on" a 3rd party application.

There is literally no comparison - Wave is a "cute little" accounting software system that does a nice job tracking someone's checking account and basic household expenses, but if you are a serious business, you certainly need a comprehensive software package like QuickBooks Online Advanced in order to track your income and expenses efficiently and correctly.

Again, I was hired after QuickBooks Online Advanced was selected and implemented so I cannot answer to how the software stacks up to the choices that were explored when the company started over 7 years ago. I know we are looking for other options now that might have more consistency in operations and provide us with the inventory management that we aren't able to get out of QuickBooks Online Advanced at this time.

Quickbooks online advanced is much simple and easier to use, so it fits better to the ticket of our small non-profit organization needs. The other options are either, or both, more pricy and complicated than the QuickBooks Online Advanced. For example, the implementation for QuickBooks Online Advanced was simple enough for me to do so in-house with training courses available and phone calls to a customer service representative or implementation expert accessible.

The product I used clearly appears struggling to catch up but doesn't seem an easy task for them. This other product was not able to finalize some of the modules into the web-base (NXT) system. Intuit already has multiple products (payments, tax filing, payroll, etc) that provide added value. QuickBooks has seamless integration with the Microsoft product, specifically Excel. The other product I use

I have not evaluated any yet. I have used QuickBooks since 2008 and I used Sage in the corporate environment before using QuickBooks. Honestly, I can't remember it because it was early 2000's. I thought about evaluating and looking because of the issues I've had with QuickBooks, but I haven't really investigated.

Quickbooks has made their other products frustrating to use by eliminating features. Their feature bundling is annoying, confusing, and frustrating. QuickBooks Online Advanced or Pro or whatever their next marketing/sales idea fills me with dread.

I enjoy QBO Advanced more than Desktop mainly because of the flexibility QBO Advanced offers over QB Desktop. Its also more up to date, and as newer and newer programs and features are created QBO Advanced, always stays ontop of those improvements. It is also extremely helpful and easy to Intergrate different softwares.

Microsoft Dynamics is very difficult to use in comparison to QuickBooks. The transaction level visibility is poor and the reporting capabilities are subpar.

I have used it in other places I've worked with Microsoft Dynamics GP, but I know this is a more complicated one, and unlike QuickBooks, it manages each module (AR, AP, Finance, Purchasing) separately, like the connection between modules is not as easy as it is in QuickBooks Online. That's why I like this program so much.

QuickBooks Online Advanced is on par with Xero, and both are market leaders in the Online Bookkeeping solutions. Multi-dimensional reporting is better than Xero but Xero has better WorkPapers, Hubdoc app and allows for online filing of accounts to Companies House and to HMRC. Other solutions are behind in development but are catching up.

Accounting, bank management, and expense management are long-time normed and standardized processes. So we did expect very little difference, and very little effort to swap between these software suites. We were surprised that there are much more differences. These deviations can stop us from swapping. Might one believe it or not? We stick to QuickBooks Online Advanced from all of the notions we had. QuickBooks Online Advanced suits our needs best. We did not get ideas that something does need a change or offer a better experience. Instead, most of the competitors confirmed our judgment. The people from Intuit did a very good job.

QuickBooks Desktop provides slightly more features and functionality, at the cost of disk space and the lack of cloud access. We chose the Online version of this software as the accounting and finance staff travel frequently and may access information remotely. QuickBooks provides significantly less features and functionality than Oracle NetSuite, but it comes at a fraction of the cost. As a smaller startup, NetSuite is not affordable for us at this time.

Unlike QuickBooks Online Advanced, Oracle Cloud ERP required a lot of integrations to fully satisfy us and didn’t offer intuitive mobile-based system.

FreshBooks served its purpose when our company was smaller, however, it did not offer the full range of benefits that QBO has offered us. The ability to assign user roles have unlimited user accounts, a dedicated helpline, online access to trainings, and the ability to create batch invoices has made QuickBooks Online the better choice for our business, hands down.

The changes in each competitor's offerings are fluid, and the list of competitors I was allowed to select from did not include other very useable programs I have had the opportunity to use, test, or observe. To make this comment more helpful, I would say that you need to evaluate each customer's needs and comfort level with different systems. For example, Xero has been a strong competitor against QuickBooks Online, but the look and feel were very different from the start whereas most other competitors I encounter have look & feel and navigation that is more like QBO, possibly to make new customers easier to pull away from QuickBooks Online. You also have to evaluate your needs and standards as a professional in implementing such as how important is a solid bank reconciliation tool to you. Many systems do not offer a true bank reconciliation tool but a workaround that may get the job done but may be very difficult to unwind later. Also, all systems, including QB products, will vary in how good the accounting standards, adjustment methods, etc. are. Most are not built from an accounting system standpoint but from a transactional database standpoint. This may be a consideration for you, especially if you have clients that can make a real mess in their sandbox that you will have to clean up later.

Enterprise does not provide the geographic flexibility to access you data from anywhere without VPN or other things that are way more expensive to institute.
