Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

We basically are a boutique digital consulting company and we do a lot of benchmarking. We use quintly for exactly for the same reason. It's easy to add company pages and have an overview under one dashboard. We also like the fact that you can customize the dashboards with the KPIs that are most important for the client and most relevant for benchmarking.
  • Benchmarking: the strongest point
  • Customised dashboards with desired KPIs
  • Has multiple social media platforms such as LinkedIn which is very uncommon when compared to other famous tools such as Socialbakers
  • Basically, apart from interaction rate all other KPIs are basic. Also what bothers us is that it doesn't include paid post KPIs. This is one point where Socialbakers performs very well.
  • Secondly, the swap system is something that is a little tiresome. Often you lose track of it and somehow end up missing on profile and analysis.
  • Would love to see more KPIs and recommendations for paid post promotion etc.
It's a great benchmarking tool when you need to get (almost) real-time data and KPIs. For example the reach, and follower number of Facebook and Twitter are exactly the same when you check them in real-time.
I would not recommend quintly, when you need more of a recommendation on paid posts etc.
  • It's a pretty cost intensive tool but the fact that it provides LinkedIn data has offered us more positives than negatives.
  • If you are careful with the swaps you can use the tool in a very good setting.
It stacks up very well. It's a very close competitor to Socialbakers. It takes the lead as it has LinkedIn analytics and Socialbakers doesn't.

Basically, all consultants and analysts use Quintly do performing benchmarking for our clients and to make a market analysis on how the whole social landscape looks like. It's an easy to use tool so no special skill is required to use it. The learning curve to use this tool isnt that steep unlike other tools in the market such as Sprinklr.

The people who use Quintly are basically analysts and consultant and they require in-depth KPI experience and knowledge about Social media in general. Also it's important to understand how the tool Quintly itself works and where to extract what data from the different dashboard. It's good that Quintly as a tool is very self-explanatory and easy to understand. KPI's are easy to find and companies/ social accounts are easy to group.
  • Social media management
  • Social media benchmarking
  • KPI Reporting
  • We dont use it.
  • Depending on the functionality, maybe paid post potential
  • Changing KPI's and deriving own custom KPI data
  • Additional social media accounts analysis
I think it's important for everyone to share the reviews of the tools they use as it can not just help other people to save time and money but also can help making an informed decision on which tool should be used for what and which is the best tool in the market to solve any given problem.

Quintly is easily one of the best known social media benchmarking tool and this is one reason we went with it. initially we chose to their 30 days trial and realized the data was accurate and we were getting all major KPI's one can ask for benchmarking. So the single most factor for choosing Quintly was the product reputation
I might look for products that have all major social media accounts that are needed to do the benchmarking needed. Also Id check If there are any account adding limitations (which Quintly has) and ofcourse the price factor. This is one and the most crucial factor in selecting the tool, which is the ROI.

Quintly was used as a high-level social media analytics and insights platform. The metrics were relatively broad, but effective at "taking the temperature" of our accounts and several others in the same space. The tool was effective for our needs. Usage was concentrated to those in the digital analytics function. It was not widely distributed across the organization. We didn't use it for scheduling or other functions -- just metrics and analytics.
  • Able to review and compare multiple accounts and organizations quickly.
  • Accurate snapshot of trends and directions at a high level.
  • Relatively easy to use interface.
  • Tool does not measure individual posts well.
  • Tool does not do a good job of attribution in terms of social engagement.
  • Overall, the data and insights provided are broad and general for the accounts analyzed.
  • If you want a tool with great depth, keep looking.
Quintly works well when you need to measure and analyze a number of accounts on different channels. It's well suited for broad analysis and insights of numerous organizations. It falls a bit in terms of the user interface, which could use more polish. For the price, it's a great tool. It sits in the middle of the pack.
  • For the mid-level price, it's an effective tool
  • It's neither cheap nor very thorough, but it can accomplish quite a bit for it's relatively modest price
  • The cloud based interface always worked reliably for me and my team.
Quintly was a short-term solution for us. For a mid-level price, you can analyze a large number of accounts fairly quickly. You can't analyze individual posts, which was a major flaw. If you're looking to analyze trends in your posts and A/B splits, this tool won't be terribly effective. If you're looking to measure the overall direction of an account for an affordable price, this works great. It's not Radian 6. It's not Simply Measured. But it also costs a lot less.
