- Rackspace Managed Hosting cost us DAYS of lost time
- Unsure how many customers were lost when they never received our email

Cloud server hosting made easy
- We've found it helpful to host our own web sites on their cloud servers, which is a positive.
- We've also hosted our Nagios instance on a low-end cloud server, which is also a positive.
- A negative impact is that they've now decided to start charging for their support.

- Recently there have been more and more frequent outages and errors.

Rackspace - Pretty Good, I Think!
- Responded to slowdowns very quickly, therefore negating lose of earnings at peak times
- When speaking to the right people eventually, they suggested solutions that have improved server response, which should have a positive impact on site speed (and so CR)
- Load balancing allows for an efficient workflow in implementing new features while not losing traffic
- Originally set some configurations low, which negatively impacted server performance. This was rectified with memory expansion following some discussions.

Rackspace Virtual Server Platform Review
- The reliability of Rackspace allowed us to respond to a major network outage with another provider in just a few hours, experiencing minimal downtime.
- The availability of robust cloud machines made their offering better than 90% of the other IaaS providers available.
- The real-time support available to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues helped our engineering and ops teams stay on task and offload some nuanced issues onto their support team, freeing up our resources to serve our clients.
- The cost of the cloud servers has significantly reduced our hosting overhead, mainly due to the ability to define the resources we need.
- The knowledgeable support team saves a significant amount of time when building out a multi-server environment for hosting.

You need Rackspace for email!
- Rackspace is not a low cost alternative to email service but a very reliable service for an organization that requires service that is not interrupted. If you do require an email vendor that provides excellent delivery, then Rackspace provides that service.

RackSpace falls short as a dedicated server when compared to other user friendly solutions.
- Decreased down time.
- Not very user friendly.
- Lead conversion: we are able to meet client needs immediately both from those presented to us without warning, as well as those we actually seek out
- Efficiency: regardless of our internal technical prowess, Rackspace allows us to solve technological problems for our clients, instead of fumbling around attempting to manage our own.
