Rebrandly alllows custom domain names for free, which is not the case of Bitly.

Best one for short-links
Rebrandly allows you to link to your domain or subdomain and that's one of the best advantages - doesn't let your brand value dilute over ugly looking or painful long links. Others don't allow connecting your own domain. Customers are hesitant in clicking the links that don't look familiar. Rebrandly does a great job.

Turn ordinary links into 24x7 workhorses
Rebrandly is definitely aimed at the professional end of the market. Bitly has been around for a long time, but also overused and abused by bad actors. This can negatively influence a backlink profile in terms of organic search which an SEO professional simply can not afford. Using custom domains with Rebrandly, in conjunction with the unbeatable redirection speed means I'm getting far better and more consistent results compared to Bitly.

Rebrandly has more features, especially the ability to edit links after the fact. Other link shorteners are good, but Rebrandly is more fully-featured. Rebrandly basically starts where other link shorteners end. Integrated QR code creation is a differentiator. Analytics are also included in Rebrandly—other tools do not have this feature.

Setting up a branded URL through Bitly was way too complicated. Additionally, the limitation on the number of links created per month was too restrictive. Bitly does allow UTM tracking to be added, but not as dynamically as Rebrandly. Bitly also doesn't have the pixel adding feature, nor does it have a way to organize/tag/segment links created for easy management.

Easier use of keyword specific URLs. The platform is designed so that specific keywords are more easily incorporated into the domain. Other URL shortening services, we find, are not as easy to navigate in this regard. We we have been using Rebrandly for a little while now and will continue to use them for this reason.

A fast and efficient link shortening service
Bit.ly and other services that shorten and manage links are great, but there are a few problems:
- It can be expensive to add your own custom domain - with Rebrandly it's free.
- With certain products, you aren't able to set the link text, which can lead to confusing links like my.short.link/ah74vt rather than the cleaner my.short.link/rebrandlyreview.

Excellent fit for anyone in need of branded short links
It's much less expensive and easier to use than competitors.
So far, Rebrandly has all of the features I am used to with Bit.ly. The benefit with Rebrandly is more pricing options for someone using a custom URL.

Both of these tend to be overly used and often abused which can result in their IP being black-listed. This can effect email delivery should you be using your links in email messages. I haven’t had this trouble with Rebrandly, which important to ensure email messages are delivered and not marked as spam.
