We use RLMS across our whole agency and it used to address mandated staff trainings, specialized trainings, HR mandated trainings to support staff with performance deficiencies, board education, compliance trainings, on-boarding of new staff to our complex agency and we have developed a library of special trainings and educational sessions. I also have recommended RLMS for leadership development and management trainings. It is our 'go to' support tool for many of our administrative tasks and duties.
  • Proving mandatory staff trainings such as blood borne pathogens.
  • Provides uniform board trainings on HIPAA expectations.
  • Provides support to staff who have work deficiencies and may have disciplinary action.
  • Develop analytics!!!
  • The more interactive, the better the training tool. I also appreciate more ability to customize the leadership modules to better reflect our agency values.
I believe computer based training is extremely well suited for our workforce. We need the flexibility to allow staff to access the trainings at their convenience or during lull periods of their workday. In addition many of us access the RLMS during the evenings or weekends, when we actually have some time to think. In addition the CBT are consistent and I'm assured each staff member is getting exactly the same content material and testing.

CenterPointe utilizes Relias Learning Management System (RLMS) across our entire agency. We rely on it to meet compliance standards, accreditation standards, as an employee development and engagement tool, and to provide onboarding support for new hires.
  • It is simple to administer. You don't have to be a programmer to add course content, set-up users, add live events, etc.
  • Robust array of courses from industry specific to general growth & development.
  • RLMS can be accessed from anywhere you have an internet connection, including a mobile device
  • RLMS uses SMEs that are up to date and understand the complexity of the materials presented, but create courses and content that is end-user-friendly.
  • I really have no feedback for this area. I've not run into anything that is difficult or should be done differently.
RLMS is well suited for agencies of any size, who have to demonstrate competence to funders, accrediting bodies, or other compliance related entities. It is an exceptional platform for HR departments to use in corrective action plans and providing additional education in areas where employees may be found to have deficiencies. It's an easy to use product and can be utilized as a basic onboarding tool to an advanced career development module.

RMS is being used by all employees across the organization. The primary reason why RMS was initially purchased was that it was well known for its behavior management curriculum specifically registered behavior technician series. In addition, it has CEUs for clinical staff and annual hr/compliance related training for all employees. The goal of the system was to alleviate all training concerns for the organization.
  • Offers training on Applied Behavior Analysis for new hire orientation
  • Offers the Registered behavior technician series
  • Able to print out certificates of completion for individual training and transcripts for all completed training
  • Able to easily add and delete users
  • The tracking of training is really difficult. When an employee has completed training, it is really difficult to navigate to find just the completed training. You have to pull up all training the staff is enrolled in to see which ones are completed and which ones aren't.
  • If staff is enrolled in two training series and there is the same course that is part of both series, the system doesn't detect duplication training automatically and the staff is required to take the same training twice.
  • There are a lot of glitches when completing training and staff members are continuously being kicked out of the training. Additionally, if kicked out, the training does not save staff members have to restart from the beginning.
  • It is difficult to get to the support department and to solve issues. They promise the system is going through an update but the pieces of training continue to freeze or not start at all.
  • On one occasion, an employee completed the entire RBT series yet some of the courses were still showing as incomplete. We had to re-train and repay the staff for the training in order to generate the completion certificate for the BaCB board. There was no way around it but for the staff to take the 12 hours of training that he had already completed and for the organization to pick up the training cost.
Good for an organization who are in health care and in ABA. Not so good everyone else. There are courses specific to the industry, however, the glitches and the lack of support from the customer service staff makes it hard to recommend the product.

Our agency uses the Relias Learning Management System across our whole organization. We manage
all annual training post new hire through the system.
  • Being cloud based our staff can access RLMS readily allowing them to address training as their schedules allow.
  • RLMS allows us to customize the training and add agency generated training and/or material that needs to be circulated to all staff as needed.
  • RLMS is easy to use and user-friendly.
  • RLMS could offer more reporting and/or ad hoc report functionality to be able to drill down to the individual user, course, etc. to better manage staff training.
  • Ability to customize staff reminders would help our agency imensely.
It is well suited for our agency as we have numerous locations and our workforce is spread out among a large geographic area. Face to face training is not always feasible.
