We had a need to centralize and standardize our Customer, Location, and Contact data across multiple business lines and systems. With Reltio Connected Data Platform, we are building a single source of truth for all of our CLC data that will be the source of data for multiple users and systems.

Flexible modern MDM
We use Reltio Connected Data Platform to master customer data across several different platforms. Reltio Connected Data Platform helps us to ensure that we only have one version of a customer profile. We also use the integration capabilities and APIs to share this mastered view of the customer with other systems. The goal is to ensure that every system that interacts with customer data is working from the same version.

Reltio Connected Data Platform Experience
We are using Reltio for enriching vendor and customer data with D&B information like duns number, D&B hierarchy, partner demographics etc which helps business in building trusted data and also helps in setting up custom hierarchy, Customer vendor integration using household concept ; Seamless integration with SFDC allows users to use UI or import for bulk updates. We also able to consolidate legacy customers data from over 5 systems with ease using match merge survivorship techniques.

- The beauty of Reltio is Consolidation at any time we can review data at field level from different sources (crosswalk) and configure match merge and survivorship rules to define operational value and approved data can be redistributed to the upstream or downstream systems.
- With Central data governance, enrichment with D&B allows creating trusted data and distribute to various systems.
- UI does not support creating different profile views for an entity based upon customer types as example however we can achieve this by using sub entities ( sub classes). This feature is useful if we are creating profiles in reltio manually.
- Manual export every time we need to pick entities, fields etc does not allow to save templates. workaround is using postman creating predefined API with selected fields, filters and trigger export.
- UI does not support data masking which needed while we maintain PII information
- Potential Matches doesnt auto sort on confidence code so users need to manually select deselect relevant entities which is time consuming and painful process however this issue is when we have more than 4 entities as potential matches.
- It would be beneficial if UI displays data related errors (if any) between Reltio and SFDC.

Freshman in evaluating Reltio Connected Data Platform
We are currently migrating from IBM Initiate MDM platform to SAAS MDM Reltio Connected Data Platform. Using for person domain to de-duplicate/enrich/cleanse our in house data so that this enriched data can be used by product/marketing/sales team to create up-sell and cross-sell promotions. As a future road map we are planning to integrate with multiple domains with the enterprise.
