We use Remarkety for our email marketing efforts. We send out newsletters and have a few different automations set up. We have an abandoned cart email that captures customers if they don't checkout. We have an automation sequence that runs when we have new customers sign up. It's very easy to use and depending on the plan you have they also offer support.

If Remarkety can be integrated with your website I would 10/10 recommend it every time. They have great reporting features and offer different options for automation campaigns or you can even create your own custom automation campaigns. If you are only using it for newsletters you'll still see benefits but it's not going to be near as beneficial unless you add in automation.

If you have any eCommerce functions on your website you need to use Remarkety over Mailchimp because the features and functions offered by Remarkety blow Mailchimp out of the water. You'll see faster growth when using Remarkety. We chose Remarkety over Mailchimp because of how well it integrates with our e-commerce efforts.

Running a small web shop can be really time-consuming, but with Remarkety I have been able to automate different processes that generate more sales. Especially the follow-up email for visitors that did add products to the cart but didn’t complete the purchase. Other than this the software solution does offer so many options that can improve sales.
  • Email follow up on potential sales for visitors that did add products to the cart but didn’t complete the purchase process.
  • Split testing to gather information on which texts, layouts and photos that work the best. It’s a really nice feature!
  • The functionality to offer dynamic coupons with different criterias. This way you have the possibility to target individuals or target several groups with different techniques.
  • I have had troubles with Remarkety applying updates and because of that I somehow lost settings and setup. Templates were gone and had to start over again creating some of my setups. I know others have had similar issues.
  • The mobile interface has a few bugs from time to time. Apllying filters to lists is not always working and data is not displayed visually correct.
  • I would love to have more of the nice features from the higher pricing levels to the basic package.
Using mail automation and keeping potential customers warm on a purchase decision is for me really a scenario where Remarkety has performed very well for me. Remarkety is also very good at informing you how they deliver a good return on investment by highlighting how many sales have generated.

  • Very easy to answer this question. Remarkety shows how much money they have generated for you based on campaigns or the automation you have set up.
  • I have more than trippled my monthly fee for Markety by using email automation. Moreover I benefit from all the other features.
  • By using automation I don’t have to spend time trying to follow up proactively on my customers. Now my Remarkety does this all by it self
Remarkety has many more features compared to Mailchimp. The integration to my webshop was extremely easy to set up and I like to use the interface from Remarkety. You get lots of predefined trigger points for your automation and building email templates is just as easy as it was with Mailchimp.

Remarkety has replaced several tools - email marketing automation software, remarketing app and abandoned cart recovery tool.

The automatization of the abandoned cart itself brought over 10% extra revenue thanks to targeted emails sent to the customers who don't complete the checkout process.

We are now able to follow them up with personalized coupons, giving them an incentive to come back into the store and finish the purchase with one click.

  • Targeted remarketing across social media and search.
  • Email campaigns and behavior-based automation.
  • Reporting.
  • While there are several templates, their quality of design could be improved.
  • The social media integration is a great idea, but not very straight-forward to use.
  • The drag and drop editor is buggy - causing restarts of the browser.
Well-suited: For marketing automation of an eCommerce store, increasing revenue by abandoned cart recovery, personalized coupons, and follow-up emails with newsletters and product recommendations. The additional revenue stream from re-marketing across social media.

Not suited: for an online store with just a few products, it would be too complicated and expensive to run.

Mailchimp is a traditional email marketing tool. However, it is extremely limited in e-commerce integration. It is not possible to send automatic emails with targeted products based on the previous history or customer's behavior on the website.
Klaviyo has its strengths in the e-com platforms integration but is still limited in features compared to Remarkety.

We deployed Remarkety as an email automation eCommerce platform for several of our clients in various verticals. It allows us to segment contacts according to their past behavior. It is easy to set up targeted email campaigns and track responses for improved return on investment. The automation is combined with email marketing so there is no need for separate services on top of Remarkety.

Remarkety is a great product for a small business such an eCommerce store. It covers almost all marketing needs for such enterprise sending targeting newsletters, follow-up emails, A/B testing and more. I would not recommend it for businesses that require more granular analytics or deep customization. Or those who need to send out thousands of emails per day.

We evaluated several apps for email marketing and automation and we selected Remarkety for its inbuilt eCommerce functionality. The other solutions were more general in nature, missing that seamless integration with eCommerce stores selling physical products.
