I enjoy how myOn links to Renaissance resources
It is utilized across the entirety of the business, most prominently in the English classes. It assists us in determining how well students read. Because the students maintain their participation in the program, not only the instructors but also the students themselves are able to track their progress. The pupils are aware of and can appreciate the progress that they have achieved over the course of the year.
- Lots of books that are not stories.
- Materials with a lot of information.
- There are many types of music to choose from.
- I hope that they keep adding more fiction books to the online libraries.
- The platform is hard to use and hard for students and teachers to get to.
- Add more books for people in high school.
- Ease of use.
- Very informative content.
- Lots of books.
- We read a lot more in general.
- It helps people learn to read better.
- Teachers can see information in real time.
Because it demonstrates the kids' levels of understanding after they have read a book, Accelerated Reader is one of my favorite reading programs. On the other hand, I find that myON does a few more things that AR does; it goes above and beyond, and you are truly able to see the progress that your kid has made on a wider scale. This is one of the reasons why I appreciate it so much.

Renaissance myOn News: Interactive, Personalized, and Safe
Though we have Accelerated Reader throughout the county, Renaissance myON News is a school-by-school decision. Renaissance myOn News is addressing the problem that most schools face about getting students to read more non-fiction books and articles. It also is helping students be aware of the news and world around them.
- It is interactive and engaging for students and makes them want to read and explore.
- Teacher guides are detailed, helpful, and easy to use.
- AR tests on the myOn News articles that interest students.
- Include it with the AR suite.
- myOn News increases non-fiction reading levels for students.
- myOn News articles broaden students' understanding of the world they live in and make them more aware of current events.

It's being used in my classroom. My kids/students seem to enjoy logging on and browsing the site. I encourage them to read every day and complete tests. I'm not sure if it addresses any problems but we use it throughout the building. My students seem to really like it. I hope that they will continue to use it.
- I like the picture quality.

- Maybe if they added a local or state feature...
- The kids are up to date on events.

Classroom Excitement
I use myON News once a week in my class, as a way to have students stay up to date on current events. We also use the articles to practice annotating and use the articles for Socratic Seminars. This is also being used by one other teacher on campus who actively does Socratic Seminars.

I like myON News more than any other product due to the variety of articles along with providing different Lexile levels. The Comprehension questions are also a great added feature. This is the complete package website, you have everything you need in one site. Students do not have to go to multiple websites to complete the activities.
