- Rejected timesheets are sometimes harder to update and send back.
- How easily you can book time off, add new account codes, submit and save timesheets
- No negative; we just use it for timesheets.
Replicon, from a simple user point of view
Basically, anything that the company needs to know in order to pay the staff correctly and bill the customers.
- Timesheets are pretty straightforward, you just have to choose a client/project/task that you worked on (in that order), and put the hours for each day. You can then specify if it is billable or not and that’s it, you can submit.
- Time off are also very efficient, as you can select your days off from your calendar, and choose if it is a paid time off, sick leave, or other type of leave. By selecting a range of days, it automatically subtracts weekends, bank holidays, and gives you the remaining days off that you have (and if it is possible to request paid time off for example). The calendar view is very good.
- Expenses management are very efficient, you just have to describe what you spent and select on what project or client, then put the incurred amount and upload scans of your receipts. It also handles different currencies which is good for international companies, and you can keep track of the approval status, to know when you are going to be reimbursed without asking the finance team.
- There is no easy way to add a comment on an expense, you have to reopen a ticket to add a comment. But that might be how it is configured in our company.
It should nonetheless do just that, as it is not suited to track the work that you are doing or details about it. It is completely useless in that case.
- It is very straightforward, so people tend to be encouraged to fill their timesheets on time, specially since they can do that on mobile. This means faster invoicing for clients, meaning getting paid faster.
- Also, better expenses management, with a unified system where we can track all expenses incurred and create reports on them. This provides better visibility to see where we are wasting money.

- Reporting is a breeze.
- One if the main messing functionalities is not having Mass Projects / Tasks Updates. It is very [time] consuming to update a new user to projects. The request for this had been ongoing for the last 6 months & still no nearer to get this functionality.
- Approving multiples time sheets need to be better.
- Better notification from Replicon when something changes or upgrades to the system have been done.
- Improvement in tracking employee hours & time off.
- Improvement in assigning employee to projects.
- Improvement for the account managers to track what is happening to their projects.
Replicon Review
- Many of our employees work on multiple projects. Replicon PSM time sheets make it easy for them to accurately track their hours for each week.
- Expense reports can be tedious and frustrating, but Replicon PSM has simplified it by allowing all of the information to be inputted on the site, including receipts, which can then be submitted for approval.
- The Reports tab is very useful for administrators. The reports can be created and adjusted to pull exactly the information needed and saved easily for future use.
- Though the technical support staff are always very nice, sometimes they don't seem to understand exactly what the issue is based on our explanation. There have been several times when I've ended up solving the issue on my own without their assistance, despite numerous emails and phone calls. Could be a language barrier issue, perhaps they could receive more training in how companies are actually using the software on a daily basis.
- Employee time sheets have to be approved by project managers and supervisors prior to my final approval. However, when viewing the time sheets in list form, there is no way for me to tell whether a time sheet has been approved by everyone else. I have to manually open each one and hover over the approver link. It would be helpful if there was a column in the list showing which approvers still need to approve it.
- There have been a few times when time sheets were accidentally deleted by approvers. In order to retrieve them, we've had to contact Replicon support and have a backup instance of the information created. It would be great if perhaps there was some sort of archive or recently deleted section that could be accessed right away without having to go through Replicon support, a folder or something that would hold on to recently deleted files for a few days or a week just in case they needed to be retrieved.
- Some of our projects have more than one project manager. Replicon currently allows for co-managers to be assigned to a project, but this status does not seem to include that co-manager in the approval of time sheets and expenses. We have had to manually create an approval path to include that second manager. It would be nice if co-managers would automatically be included in those approval paths.
- Improved ability to track employee hours and time off.
