We are using ReviewSnap across the majority of our organization.
  • Their support team is very responsive and resolve issues quickly.
  • ReviewSnap is easy to use and saves us tons of time.
  • By having all the information in ReviewSnap we are able to do some great analysis work.
  • If you have more than one type of goals, many users get stuck with the progression of the review process to rate one type and then get to the next type. It is a small plus symbol to view the next set of goals that is easily missed.
  • Cascading goals are not truly cascading. It would be nice to be able to add additional levels of goals. Currently we can only do Organizational, Department, job title and individual. We would like to have a Business Unit between Organizational and Department
Quick adaption came from the ease of use and that is why I would recommend it. If you need more robust cascading goal capabilities you might have to work at it.
  • The positive impact is that we can now see into the overall views of a department or manager without manually reading reviews. The reporting allows us to view trends where our attention may be needed.

Reviewsnap is currently being used for the whole organization. It addresses the paper use issue, when it comes to 6 -12 month reviews within our organization. It also addresses filing issues, instead of using drawers we will use review snap to store all reviews in the cloud.
  • Reviewsnap has a great granular permissions system for different types of administrators.
  • Reviewsnap has great way of retrieving old reviews for reference.
  • The interface is pretty simple and easy to use. They are moving to a new interface and that is yet to be determined.
  • Although the old interface was easy, it still can become convoluted at times if an employee has multiple managers. They need to make it easier to for employees who have a manager and a top level manager that need to also see the review.
  • Reviewsnap's old UI does not allow for employees who have 2 same-level managers. This is an oversight that needs to be addressed.
Reviewsnap is a great, simple cloud-based software for tracking employee reviews and goals for the years to come. It's a great tool for managers to see employee goals and wishes, and this helps us budget seasons for training purposes. Reviewsnap is weak on very complicated hierarchies; for example, employees that have more than one direct supervisor or manager.
  • It's saved us a lot of paper and confusion. We used to use a lot of paper to track reviews from all over the organization. Now we use Reviewsnap to keep track of reviews and to use old reviews as reference when discussing goals.
  • The cloud-based system is great due to the fact that we have satellite offices around the US. You can even do a review from Alaska if required.
  • Initially the customer service was great and responsive during deployment. Once the deployment was complete, the HR director reported having a hard time contacting support.

I used Reviewsnap at my prior company before we sold to a group out of California and my position was eliminated. I worked for the HR department there and was the sole administrator of the system, so I was responsible for the implementation, user set-up, and training on the system. It was used by managers and employees all across the organization. We used it primarily for 360 Performance reviews.
  • Reviewsnap was an easy transition for our company. It was similar to our old system and integrated with our payroll system
  • Reviewsnap had various ways to do performance reviews and multiple options for customizing setup
  • Reviewsnap had a great support team as well
  • Although the implementation was pretty easy, there were some issues with getting the right people setup under the right teams and it did take some manual work outside of the automated upload
  • I don't believe Reviewsnap had an Organization Chart diagram when I used it. This would be nice to have
My last answers should describe this fairly well about the Pros and Cons. It was well suited for our company because it integrated with our payroll system.
  • We only had Reviewsnap for a semi-annual and annual review process before our company sold, so I wasn't able to dive into the ROI very much
  • Reviewsnap was liked by our managers and employees and most felt it was an easy transition, even for our blue-collar employees that weren't technically savvy
Reviewsnap has been comparable to most the systems I've used in the past. I wouldn't say that one of the systems I've used and mentioned above sticks out far above or below the others.

ReviewSnap is being used by our Corporate Staff and District Managers. This allows us to better organize our review process to ensure that all goals are aligned with corporate goals (cascading goals). The ReviewSnap solution is very customizable/configurable which makes it great for a mid-sized business that doesn't utilize a performance management system contained within a larger HRIS.
  • Ease of configuration
  • Ease of maintenance
  • User-friendly for non-technology savvy folks
  • We've experienced challenges beginning new review cycles without old cycles not being closed out
  • The UI is OK, but nothing special (a new version has been released, but we've not upgraded yet)
  • We currently don't have any sort of integration between ReviewSnap and our payroll system for hires/terms. I'm not sure if this is possible or not but wasn't discussed when we implemented it.
Because of how I have to manually manage the system, it would not make sense for us to manage this on a larger scale without automation/integrations.
  • We had a completely paper-based system previously, ReviewSnap streamlined the completion process
I believe the SuccessFactors product I used 8+ years ago was much more robust but was effective for a large, enterprise-wide solution. ReviewSnap does the trick for folks that don't need the robust features, automation, and cost that comes with an enterprise solution.
