Rippling is a way for businesses to manage all of their HR, IT, and Finance — payroll, benefits, computers, apps, corporate cards, expenses — in one global workforce platform. By connecting every business system to one source of truth for employee data, businesses can automate all of the manual work they normally need to do to make employee changes.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, users can click a button and set up a new employee’s payroll, health insurance, work computer, corporate card, and third-party apps–like Slack, Zoom, and Office 365 within 90 seconds.

Rippling is easy for you to track your clock in and clock out, breaks for lunch and rest, as well as any overtime. Requesting time off and tracking your balance is simple. If managing many different employees, this is a great way to track these metrics. It is also easy for employees to see their active benefits.

When I was in a different position, we had a hiring goal of 50 new hires in less than 90 days, it was a crazy busy time of trying to track, input, and process all of these candidates. Rippling made the process so much more efficient.

When I am trying to located someone in my organization, it is easy to find them. In addition, you find them, their information, who they report up to and if they have any direct reports. It's so easy.

Requesting time off is such a breeze. You navigate to the icon that says "time off" and click it. Once you do, you can see how much time you have to use and can even go into detail on how many hours you would like to use as well.

It does really well for scheduling and putting everything in the same area where workers don't have to go to five different sites to ask off, get sick leave, sign up for benefits, or other tasks that rippling takes care of.

Rippling is fantastic for users who may not have a lot or any experience in the professional work space particularly with companies that are mid to large size. Easy to understand interface leaves most users able to find anything they need without needing assistance. May not be the best resource for highly specific questions or if you need to work with another person directly.

Based on my experience, Rippling is well suited for everything surrounding employee management at my company. We use Rippling and Lattice together for all HR things. Rippling for time off and benefit elections, and lattice for performance reviews etc. I don't see any scenarios in where Rippling is less appropriate. I feel like we have a well oiled engine.

For the most part, my day-to-day activities in Rippling are very easy to execute. It was a breeze getting set up when we first started, and regular work like sending out employment agreements or running payroll is extremely straightforward. For a smaller company like ours, after extensive research, we found it to be the best option. Compared to other similarly priced and rated payroll platforms in the market, they were also the only ones that gave us a demo and walked us through the platform so we could make an informed decision. The biggest downside is how long it took us to get set up with state tax agencies and get all our numbers processed. We're a fully remote company, and it would've been a lot smoother if Rippling had people who could help manage this process, so that we could take care of all our responsibilities without having to worry about that side of things. Having a tax consultant who can handle all the paperwork (even for a fee) would be a great add-on. It's been close to 5 months, and we're still waiting on numbers from North Carolina and it's just because we've never done it before, and aside from some help docs, Rippling doesn't offer much assistance here.

Pros: The process to select benefits was the easiest I have ever been through. For example, it required way less re-entering of personal information when signing up for benefits. It clearly showed what my current selections are and my future enrollment. It also clearly laid out the difference between health plans from year to year. The ability to manage your HSA on a single platform was also nice.

Cons: There is no Stitch integration to get the data in our data warehouse to perform analytics + automate manual processes.

I think it is fantastic for any of the backend tasks needed for employees. I have worked in large corporations in the past and every system or process they used was really tedious and hard to operate. I cannot express enough how important the ease of use is that Rippling provides.

Rippling is easy to use by how simple and clear it is to read and understand what is on the screen in front of you. There are no issues of freezing when accessing pages or losing information typed in in certain fields. I am also easily able to find what I need by selecting the navigation bar and seeing specific sections I can get to.

It doesn't seem to be as appropriate for managing a team but for all thigns related to corporate HR including payroll and benefits it is really the best tool I've come into contact with in 12 years working in tech companies.

Ripping is the perfect tool if you need to manage human resources and intend to use external applications to integrate business processes. The service works very well in the context of managing employee attendance and working hours. A minor drawback of Ripping can be considered the not-quite-refined integrations with tools/services used to support software development like GitHub or Heroku.

As an employee I can obtain pay stubs so easy when I was buying a house. I also lost my insurance card and there is a copy on rippling for me which made my life much easier. I also was able to get my W2 online in stead of the mail.

It's very easy to set up and navigate for all employees. When we had to set up payroll, they made it so easy to take care of linking multiple bank accounts to split up pay. Also, one of the most frustrating things to set up is health insurance, and they make it so easy to make an informed decision on which plan is the best for you.
