(1-3 of 3)Sage Timeslips Review
- Timeslips makes it easy to open new matters.
- It is easy to enter firm billing and expenses into Timeslips.
- It is easy to determine how much has been billed for specific cases.
- It is easy to run pre-bills and to finalize billing.
- Timeslips has good customer service for when there are specific questions or issues.
- Timeslips needs a "select all" button for transferring time over from eCenter so each entry does not have to be individually checked off to transfer time to Timeslips.
- The reports feature is confusing and we sometimes have issues running specific reports.
- eCenter should allow staff and attorneys to review their prior billing even after the time and expenses have been transferred over to Timeslips.
- It's easy to open new matters.
- It is easy to run pre-bills and to finalize bills.
- It is easy to enter payments.
- It allows us to run reports.
- It helps us keep track of how much clients have paid.
- It helps us determine how much money clients still owe us.
- It allows us to do our own firm's billing.
Trust Sage Timeslips!
- Ease of entering time information. You can create nicknames or shortcuts so you don't have to reenter the same info over and over.
- You can assign a number to each of your employees and each number can have a separate billing rate.
- Reports are easy to create with any information you specify.
- It could be a bit more "user-friendly" by having a tips or help area to click on.
- It is a bit costly on start up and you still have to pay for upgrades.
- The most positive effect it has had on our firm is that when we need to report to our insurance companies what work we've done for their clients, it's an easy few clicks to get the information we need to fulfill their request.
Consistently Reliable Data
- TimeSlips doesn't crash, doesn't lose data, backs-up easily; facilitates accurate reports showing funds received, accounts receivable, trust fund balances and billing/collection statistics.
- I would like to see web access so that I am not limited to access only via my primary computer.
- I would like the program to be more intuitive with self-correcting verbiage.
- When inputting multiple data for one client, I'd like the program to be more intuitive by self filling or having the option to self fill the biller's name, the service and the client fields.
- Over the years it has been worth its weight in gold - huge return over cost
- The biggest negative occurred within the past year in that one was required to acquire an annual license raising the annual cost, but not to the point where it becomes cost ineffective.
