We use Salesforce Commerce Cloud for managing our dealers, customers and sales. We primarily use it for managing our dealers and customers. We have all of our dealer information in Salesforce Commerce Cloud and it is very easy to manage and keep track of. We can also mark when a dealer is active or inactive and it is very user friendly. We also use Salesforce Commerce Cloud to manage our customers. We can tie each customer to the dealer they purchased from, making it very easy to search and find.

I think Salesforce Commerce Cloud is great. It is very easy to use and manage dealer information and customer information. I do really like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, but if I had to pick something, the integration does not work well for us or it is hard for us to figure out. We have tried many times to connect Hubspot to Salesforce Commerce Cloud but we seem to have to do things manually as it does not integrate well.

  • We have had a positive ROI because it helps us to gather customer information so we can easily go back and send surveys to our customers which gives us great feedback to improve our products
  • We can easily keep track of our dealer network to see how they are performing
  • We can easily keep track of inventory to order as needed before things run out of stock
  • We can keep track of when products ship to easily monitor
I give it a 10 because I personally think Salesforce Commerce Cloud is easy to use. We can easily add dealer and customer information. We also can easily keep track of our inventory and when orders ship. Even if you are unsure how to do something in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, you can click around and figure it out as everything is clearly labeled or searchable.
I think Salesforce Commerce Cloud is great. Like mentioned previously, it is easy to use and keep track of our dealer information and customer information. We do also use Hubspot and it would be nice if they intigrated better but they both have good uses. Salesforce Commerce Cloud is better for dealer information, order information, inventory, information, etc but I prefer Hubspot for things like sending marketing emails to leads and automation features.

  • Shared codebase between 8 sites saves time and money
  • Increased level of customization for sites
  • Easy to change site preferences/shipping methods
Salesforce is great once you understand how to use it. There is a very large learning curve at the beginning, and still to this day I continue to learn new things about the program, however, once you have an understanding of the functionality that it holds, it is definitely a powerhouse compared to the competitors in the market.
I have not used any other comparable tool to Salesforce commerce cloud

Demandware is an end to end retail e-commerce business enabler which has a strong ability to deal with application building and maintenance. It's being used for a multiple number of our client's online stores enablement for all kinds of devices supported with Responsive Design.
  • Demandware has a well built structure in terms of an online storefront called SiteGenesis with which you can do faster site building.
  • Demandware has an effective cache, deployment model and less down time(in fact no down time).
  • Demandware has content management and online marketing features inside it's own tool called Business Manager.
  • No JAR, No WAR, No EAR(no conpiling versions overhead and builds etc)........single click production deployment both code and content.
  • No local installations required. SaaS ;)
-There are only minimal problems with data load if there is any retailer has more than hundreds of thousands of sku's in their business. This also puts a limitation on the data maintenance end.
-Key based security encryptions and decryption are not there at this point of time.
  • In my experience I see most of the retailers see better sales after moving to Demandware.
  • Site performance is really good if the application built with best practices suggested by Demandware.
  • Service integrations have some limitations in terms of quota etc but still all are inside manageable grounds.
On high level I know WCS and ATG....which runs with multiple services to enable an application of E-commerce but Demandware takes care of all services with one tool called Business Manager which is really helpful for retailers.
I don't see anything that is not good with the platform. All I see is just some improvement in the platform features and implementation of people ideas to get it more better.

Implementation went fairly smoothly.
  • In-person training
The in-person training was thorough. Trainer was pretty dry, but covered everything really well.
Company specific data we wanted to integrate and have the ability to capture from web orders.
No
Most of the support that we have experienced has relied heavily on a community site, looking for answers to questions that other users or developers have run into or previously asked.
The system is very easy to use.
We have only had one instance where the platform went down in the time we have been using it.
  • We may potentially move two other domains to the platform within the next year.
Pretty easy, no pertinent issues.
I was not in on this process.
