Salesforce Marketing Cloud does a great job at what it is designed to do. There are several SaaS products in the Marketing Automation arena and SFMC is one of the top providers. There are several things it does well, such as email marketing and automation, leads generation/segmentation/qualification, and reporting/analytics. There are a few areas of improvement when it comes to the product and they surround legacy systems and architecture, outdated UI/UX, as well as targeting data in the activity logs for reporting and segmentation.

According to my personal opinion, it was a significant help to create journeys, set up mailers, integrate the modals and push notifications for all our CRM related marketing content that needed to be sent out on a daily basis for various campaigns we used to run for increasing the customer engagement. The reporting/monitoring of these campaigns were extremely easy for these with the help of Real-time data that was recorded in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Got it, scaling it back. I'd rate Salesforce Marketing Cloud a 10 for scalability. It's been great at keeping up with everything we've thrown at it, growing with our needs. Whether it's simple campaigns or something more complex, it handles it all. It's like having the right tool for every job, making it a perfect fit for us as we expand.

If you have existing software/platforms for your website, social, data management, it will be hard to move everything into Salesforce Marketing Cloud to take full advantage of this multiple channel approach. It can be frustrating to see all the potential offerings in Salesforce Marketing Cloud but see parts locked down/not turned on/ not yet integrated for the full experience. If you start from SCRATCH Salesforce Marketing Cloud would give you a great multi-channel experience.

It's sometimes more complex than it needs to be, and there are limitations and workarounds you have to figure out to tailor it to your business needs. It's practical, but like all software, it has bugs and room for improvement. I hope they continue to roll out upgrades for customers.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the best to future proof your marketing automation efforts. There is very little limit to what can be achieved with Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I dont think there is a next step or a better platform to move to from Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The only limit that their could be would be skills to make full use of the platform and anyone changing from Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be taking a step backward.

I definitely agree that Salesforce Marketing Cloud is capable of almost any marketing platform need, in terms of features, it has it all. Again, it all depends on what type of organization you are, and what kind of marketing team you have. When I say this, I am referring to the fact that your marketing team has to be almost half the staff because it does require a lot of management of different aspects of it to get the best out of Marketing cloud.

Overall, it’s does the standard data modeling, editing of Email, SMS, Ads to execute. It can scale globally or locally for all types of transactional, eCommerce and marketing use cases. It still have improvement on integrations and you have to customize a lot so as you scale it can get tough with more advanced use cases and takes more resources.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud helps create profiles for each subscriber. The Contact Builder feature stores information about every subscriber, including whether they're an active customer, their purchase history from the last year, and their email engagement metrics. It also identifies the likelihood of a subscriber churning, aiding in creating personalized campaigns to boost company revenue.

Although the platform is scalable, it is not very flexible in terms of day-to-day usage, but that is positive if you are trying to standardize how the business should run certain aspects. In terms of scalability, it's great; we are a global company, and at one point, we had over 12 instances throughout the business that we have now consolidated down to one.

I give it an eight because Salesforce Marketing Cloud does many of the things we need for our clients. It fulfills our client's needs for a reliable system that integrates well with the rest of the Salesforce software package. The software is really useful for companies with many stakeholders, and the intuitive interface makes it easy to implement for all who need it. Something I like especially is their lead-scoring options. This is the first time I have experienced demography, and actions are scored separately. I like that because it really focuses on the right fit and the right actions.

Due to the ability to bring your data, SFMC is as scalable as needed. Once you start getting to larger send volumes, it allows for send throttling to stop ISPs from tagging you as Spam, which is necessary for larger companies with large audiences.

We had approximately 20,000 recipients of most email campaigns, with some higher amounts and some smaller campaigns. The tools is easy to use and the recipient list size is really not a factor in the complexity or work to create and email campaign. Our campaigns could just have easily been sent to many more people, with virtually no additional work.
