I haven't chosen Marketing Cloud over Eloqua, as i stand by my opinion that MC is better for database sizes of up to a million, which for Eloqua i would say goes to multiple millions of contacts. Their database set up is just a bit more intuitive and i believe offers more, which isn't a problem for MC itself, because it's meant for a smaller company that doesn't have as much processes as the biggest fish might have.

I've used both Infusionsoft and Marketo in previous roles to aid in marketing automation. Infusionsoft is much more small business and is great for that market. Marketo, although appropriate for a variety of company sizes, is less user friendly and requires more developed skillsets for managers of the system. There is no same ease of creating landing pages and emails, for example, as there is with Pardot, where inexperienced/non-designers and non-coders on your marketing team can make beautiful pages and emails that are mobile-friendly and dynamic.

We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for lead management, generating reports, tracking customer and dealer information, inputting orders, and more. I prefer HubSpot for email marketing and automation because it is easier to use and the emails are designed much better. We currently use Salesforce and HubSpot, and we are very happy to have both, as they have different pros/cons.
