We are using SalesLoft to keep our sales mission organized. It is being used by our Sales and Marketing department. It helps us stay on track and gives us the ability to plan ahead for our outreach.
  • The ability to schedule when an email goes out - this is awesome!
  • Can build lots of cadences and compare which ones had better response rates, clicks, views, etc.
  • The analytics section is great too.
  • To notify us when an email bounces.

We are using SalesLoft primarily for our Inside Sales Team to prospect for business with prospective clients. We also use the tool to facilitate regular outreach to our partners to keep them appraised of our offerings and how best to team for success.
  • Reporting an Analytics are very strong
  • The user interface is easy to use and intuitive
  • Safeguards are in place to reduce likelihood of being blocked
  • The restriction of 1000 emails per day is frustrating for teams that are processing high volumes. Appropriate spacing of emails can still be attained at higher volumes
  • Would like to see an integration to send LinkedIn inmail from Salesloft natively
SalesLoft is well suited for sales teams that want to engage in multiple mediums for engagement with clients and prospects. It is less well suited for bulk email campaigns if you need super high volumes. We use SalesLoft to AB test and use its superior reporting to plan a broader campaign and assess metrics and then use a secondary platform to augment for high volume situations.

Our Sales team use SalesLoft to manage our sales activity and make and receive calls.

It makes it easier for us to track and manage communication with potential clients, as well as for inbound leads to contact us and book time in our calendars.

It also allows us to keep track of our activity and monitor where we need to make more effort!

The Business Development area uses the tool to register contacts, positioning, calls, e-mails, and cadences. I have no problems to address. It is a very robust and reliable tool as well as being very intuitive and friendly. I am particularly pleased to use it. I recommend it to other users within the company.

We use it as a sales enablement tool for automation and reaching out to prospects + opportunities. It's a super useful tool that does far better than just using your traditional CRM to manage this part. Being able to ensure a positive journey through the pipeline has been a huge win for me as a rep.

I only have experience from it when it comes to its uses as a sales rep, but it is incredible for ensuring I have proper follow-up and nothing gets missed. SalesLoft has really enabled me to give each one of my prospects the best possible experience.

We use SalesLoft as our primary engine for our outbound sales process. I have used SalesLoft at multiple companies now, and I highly recommend it. It is crucial for SDRs to stay on top of their daily activities, and offers good insights into what emails, cadences, frequencies, etc. work and which need to be tinkered with. The easy integration with Salesforce and easy to set up automation rules are also crucial components.

  • Reporting is not great, though they have made great strides in the last few years
SalesLoft is ideal for outbound functions, but is not an ESP and shouldn't be used as a Marketing tool, in my opinion. It is especially good for outbound teams that are segmenting and targeting with dynamic messaging that is relevant but not necessarily highly customized.

It also works very well for highly personalized cadences for your 'A+' brands you're looking to break into.

SalesLoft is used across our entire company for calling, cadences, and emailing. There are many features like snippets, templates, reminders and such that I think we could utilize more, but overall it is very effective for us. It addresses the business problem of quick and easy CRM management. I really like the feature of being able to look up companies, write, notes, and also call/email.
  • User-Interface: I think it has a great layout and is easy, friendly to use.
  • Cadences: These make it super easy/efficient to organize your prospects and customers.
  • Email: The email features are great which make it easier when you can have certain templates to choose from or snippets.
  • I think everything is pretty great, I just feel there is a lot about the product I am unaware of, or how to work those features.
  • When you have imported a lot of people into SalesLoft, and maybe you forget who some are, it can be difficult to find these people or remember where they are.
I think [SalesLoft] is very easy to use, which makes your prospecting/account management easier. On top of this, it is great for email writing with different templates you can create. The over functionality of it is fun and easy and makes your organization a lot better.

We leverage SalesLoft exclusively with our Inside Sales organization. This group includes SDR's and ISR's which is roughly 100 users. SalesLoft is the primary tool used for almost all sales engagements. It's a central part of our email and phone based outreach efforts. Our team handles inbound and outbound leads from our prospects and customers alike.
  • Salesloft Cadences were a game changer for us. It's now considered table stakes for any sales engagement platform.
  • Automation Rules were huge for the Operations and IT teams - less clicks in SFDC and predictable patterns gave us the data we needed.
  • Their support has been spectacular with our regular requests for customization and help within the app.
  • With great tools comes great responsibility - you NEED training and enablement for this tool.
  • Being able to get a dialer phone number in a desired area is spotty, some of our major markets never have a number available in that area code.
  • It'd be great if we could change the Person layouts - there's information that we'd like to display and we're limited to just showing a few custom fields.
SalesLoft is a great application to get started on with Sales engagement. If you find yourself in a position where you have to be more targeted and coordinated with prospecting activities, SalesLoft definitely satisfies the requirements. Our inside sales team has found a lot of success with it and it's difficult to imagine moving to a platform that doesn't have the same feature set.

SalesLoft is an integral sales development tool and enables complex strategies for cadence pace, variation, and testing. There are also great analytics tools that display team leader boards and rankings for a wide variety of outreach activities.

SalesLoft is being used just for the sales team. We create cadences within it, and put prospects through the steps in order to book meetings. It also can track the click rates from our prospects, how many times they've opened emails, as well as if they have clicked on any links that we have sent. It helps us book meetings as an organization.
  • When you create a sequence, it runs you through the steps in the timeline that you created
  • Can link with Linkedin for a connection touch
  • Shows you how many times your prospects view your emails
  • Can run several cadences at once!
  • I initially had difficulty integrating with my email, but one call with customer support helped solve this!
  • You must always have updated Chrome, otherwise the optics and data will not show (again, a me problem, not SalesLoft!).
  • I've built a few cadences, and my home screen still advertises for me to "build my first cadence".
It's great for your sales team. I really cannot see it being used by many other teams as it is a sales tool. It's great for prospecting and setting the meeting, beyond that you should keep track of your opportunities. It's great for running you through different touch points such as emails, calls/voicemails, linkedin connections, etc.

SalesLoft is being used within the Sales department only. It addressed our problems with task tracking, call efficiency and recording. Dialing by hand was very inconvenient and time consuming. Having to keep track of call and email metrics manually was a pain. And not being able to record demos and discovery calls made it difficult to learn from our mistakes. SalesLoft has solved these issues and continues to provide value on a daily basis.
  • Call Cadences - Easily creates a list of contacts to be called. Efficiently follows a plan of attack.
  • Email Cadences - Easily creates a list of contacts to be emailed. Efficiently follows a plan of attack.
  • GoTo Meeting Recording - Drop in the link ID and presto. Records and stores everything!
  • Filters - It would be great to see more fliting options. (i.e. State)
  • Occasionally, system updates will affect usability for less than 5 mins.
Call and Email cadences are a no brainer in comparison to manually dialing an emailing. You get so much more done in so much less time. The system truly allows you to work smarter, not harder.

My department uses SalesLoft as an efficient way to track and monitor BDRs' outreach to contacts. It solves the problem of an increased number of BDRs making email tracking, call recording, analytics, research (with various third-party apps like ZoomInfo, Hoover's, etc.) a difficult process for the managers, resulting in low visibility into-day to-day activities.

SalesLoft is being used by a few sales teams within my organization, and those who have access all seem to benefit greatly from the platform. In lieu of a CRM that can track activity, tasks, and prospects, this is a crucial tool that keeps me organized. It saves an immense amount of time when developing cadences that incorporate a variety of touches (email, LinkedIn requests, LinkedIn shares/messages, calls, etc.). I especially love the tracking feature (assuming a company is not on the tracking exclusion list), which gives a fairly accurate level of intent data. Our team tends to follow up with calls after seeing a number of email opens, which has worked well in scheduling new prospects or getting back on the calendar of existing prospects.

The platform is great for organizing leads that are sent to reps through our CRM, as they often fall out of the funnel. By tagging prospects when they've come in as a lead, I can easily place them in fodder campaigns that help me stay in touch with prospects who may not be ready to connect right away. We've also been able to solve issues within the team when duplicating outreach efforts/finding territory overlap.

One feature that has been removed, which was helpful, was being able to delete contacts (e.g., because of dupes, moved organizations, no longer a valid prospect, etc). Also, the email targeting could be improved to eliminate opens/clicks from your own domain (e.g., if I cc my colleague and she opens the email 20 times, it is not easily distinguishable from the prospect who may live in the same area).

SalesLoft is being used by our sales organization as a dialer and email tracker as well as for sales engagement. We have multiple cadences set up for outbound efforts both for SDRs and AEs. All activity is also logged through SalesLoft. It helps us to stay organized in our outreach and follow up and provides reporting for management.

We currently use SalesLoft for our sales engagement and outreach efforts. Previously, we did not have a system dedicated solely to creating, managing, and tracking cadences for outreach; SalesLoft has filled that void and empowered our sales team to be much more efficient and effective with their time and outreach.
  • Cadence creation - very intuitive and easy to follow.
  • Email templating - has the ability to add videos, links, smart fields, etc. to templates.
  • Easy to navigate Salesforce plug-in.
  • Innovation in adding special polls, surveys, interactive elements to email outreach.
  • No internal messaging system w/in the toolset.
  • Can be difficult to understand how to set up smart logic campaigns (ex: automating movement between cadences based on prospect answers).
SalesLoft is well suited for sales teams who do a lot of daily cold outreach and need a toolset to keep track of a structured system for outreach. Perfect for SDRs/BDRs and for AEs who do a lot of self-sourcing. May not be as well suited for outreach beyond cold/initial calls and emails - once a prospect has been qualified and is in an evaluation, the rep will manage their own outreach strategy outside of SalesLoft.

Our SDR (Sales Development Representatives) team needed help with automation in their day to day. They are the ones who used it the most. Sometimes our sales team would use it to run cadences but mostly to use the dialer version. We would make calls through the Sales Loft app.
  • Were allowed to set up cadences to help automate any sales reach outs we would have
  • We were able to use the dialer they had to make calls to clients - who's profile was sync'ed up with salesforce. It would ensure the notes of that call went into Salesforce as well.
  • We used the templates and snippets they had to help save time with emails to prospects. We would track emails and see which ones worked the best and use them as templates. We'd also make sure the email was customized but using their snippets of information.
  • The salesforce integration was not great. I liked going to salesforce and seeing what my tasks for that day was. Since I was logging calls in SalesLoft I wasn't able to set up a follow up call in Salesforce. It had to be in sales loft.
If you have an SDR team or a team who makes a lot of calls and emails SalesLoft is a must. It helps automate a lot of the work you do. In addition to that, it allows you to track and report on which emails get the best results. The reporting in SalesLoft is really great. You can easily take a step back and know what's been working and what isn't. To then quickly remove that not working workflow.

On the Customer Success team, we attempted to use SalesLoft to engage with customers who responded to NPS surveys. We used Delighted. It integrates with Salesforce. Pulling the data out of Salesforce and into SalesLoft proved to be so difficult that we gave up on SalesLoft as a solution to this problem.

  • Changing SFDC data without having to log into Salesforce.
  • Hard to pull data out of Salesforce regularly; even harder to automate.
SalesLoft is good for sales automation but when we tried to automate customer success workflows, it fell short. Mainly because automating contacts from Salesforce to SalesLoft doesn't exist.

SalesLoft was being used by both our sales and marketing teams. Our marketing team was using it to send out marketing content to customers and prospects. On the sales team, we used SalesLoft for the automation. I spent a lot of time creating cadences that were automated so I did not have to spend time customizing 100% of the emails I sent.

Its analytics features are very helpful as we can then analyse various campaigns performance and also understand which of our cadence steps are working.

Automation and analytics for outbound sales efforts. Only used by the Sales team. It addresses the problem of efficient automation while maintaining some personalization, as well as analyzing outreach efforts with segmentation by cadences.

  • Dialer has bad connection sometimes.
Well suited for large audience cold outreach that needs analyzing. Would not recommend it if analyzing outreach is not a priority for some reason (small audience?).

SalesLoft is used in a few ways at my company:
  • Repository for templates and cadences.
  • Automation tool for outreach.
  • Workflow management.
It is very helpful for us to maintain constant messaging among reps and manage multiple cadences for very different products. It also eliminated a lot of redundancies that we had in our data entry.

  • Used to have prospecting tool - not sure if this still exists or could be brought back.
  • Really don't have any further complaints! The tool is very helpful.
I have been a part of three implementations of SalesLoft. One as just a user and the other two as more of an admin/user. I have always found the tool to be very useful, especially in situations where you are balancing multiple products or lines of business. I even think that it is useful as a method of managing deals along with your day to day outreach.

[SalesLoft is] currently used primarily by sales team to prospect new relationships as well as maintain and cultivate with prospecting and existing clients.
  • Simplicity in setup of cadences.
  • Ability to automate and manage campaigns.
  • View ongoing interaction of recipients of cadences.
  • Would like to have some additional formatting options in emails.
Really keeps you on track and saves a ton of time, if used like it is setup.
