SeoSamba Marketing Operating System (formerly SambaSaaS) is cloud marketing software that includes tools that let users automate search engine optimization (SEO), schedule social media marketing posts across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, manage business reputation across 100+ directories by responding to reviews, as well as create and send email newsletters. It also enables users to publish content; broadcast press releases; track inbound phone and form leads; monitor Google Ads & Facebook Ads account performance; website analytics and more.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have two separate strategic business units to my company, each serves a very different audience.
Each marketing department uses an inbound marketing model which means we do a lot of content marketing. We prioritize all of our resources in creating great content and building great products that meet a compelling need for each audience.

Wordpress is great technology for us, but when they make a change, and they never 'call and tell us,' we were having to shift our manual SEO process very quickly. It became far too time consuming. There are a lot of WP plugins out there, but so many of them break when WP makes a core change. Then it's back to manually re-optimizing. SeoSamba for Wordpress Enterprise took that problem away by automating SEO for us.

Pros

  • Automates multisite SEO, so we can stay focused on great content that attracts the right audience for our two entirely different strategic business units.
  • Eliminates the surprises we used to get with other plugins when Wordpress makes unannounced changes that crash other plugins.
  • Agile, easy to use, and saves hours of time and creative resources
  • Automates metric capture: site analytics, keyword/phrase capture, search engine page results etc...in an online dashboard (and it's free).

Cons

  • There's a lot more capacity to this product than we need right now, but it's also free so we'll grow into it. You do have to pay close attention to the metrics and adapt accordingly, which is the reason behind creating an inbound marketing model anyway. Just choose the metrics that matter most to you, and I do encourage you to do a lot more A/B testing than you might have with another plug-in.

Return on Investment

  • Extremely positive ROI as it saved us a lot of very expensive creative time and other associated resources.
  • Positive impact was immediate as we were immediately aware of where our sites could be much better optimized and we are able to A/B test very quickly, and take immediate action on those results.
  • Remember, the #1 objective to metrics is to understand the behaviors they represent. Simply capturing reporting isn't good enough. Test, measure, analyze....rinse and repeat.

  • SambaSaaS helps me schedule posts across all my social media accounts and track results in a user-friendly dashboard. I also use it to repost content from authoritative sites in my niche and repost old social media posts.
  • SambaSaaS helps me get my blog posts optimized and distributed to popular influencers and top news sites.
  • SambaSaaS has geolocated and toll-free SeoSamba tracking phone numbers. This lets me make inbound and outbound phone calls, so that I can contact my clients from anywhere in the world. Each call is tracked and recorded, so I can easily review the calls I made.
  • SambaSaaS helps me flag long-tail keywords, access weekly keyword ranking variations via email and view critical queries’ reports. This includes graphical reports and tables for top #1 listing, top 5 rising keywords and newly listed keywords. I also use the keywords opportunities finder tool to determines the potential keywords that can skyrocket my site’s traffic.
  • I use SambaSaas to manage and create my referral program. I also use it to create coupons, customer incentives, or miscellaneous delivery options, all of which help motivate my customers to shop in my online store.
  • SambaSaaS helps me create and send drip campaign emails to different customer segments. I even use it to customize messages based on cart content and request post-purchase reviews.
  • SambaSaaS gives me a quick overview of SEO reports, social network analytics, and important metrics for multiple websites.
  • SambaSaaS has a centralized cloud-based interface, which I use to manage my multiple websites.
  • SambaSaaS comes with beautifully-designed pre-packed themes that can be downloaded for free.

Cons

  • It has a lot of features. So, it's kind of difficult to get started and to learn every feature in the software. However, once you get used to SambaSaaS, it's fairly easy to navigate.
