User Provisioning Simplified!!
Pricing was higher for the cloud version of the BTP service - IAG. SAP Access Control pretty much facilitates everything we are looking for as an enterprise with an efficient dollar cost ROI for the services we are looking for. Also, there were many features on the cloud version which came bundled with the license and we had to pay for them even though we did not actually use these products.

Unlike other network access control tools such as SolarWinds Access Rights Manager , SAP Access Control removes other super users privileges whenever there is need to monitor and troubleshoot a problem. This helps in complete monitoring by keeping a log off performed when there is troubleshooting in progress.

SAP Access Control provides end to end functionality. Designing and building of SAP roles, publishing the roles, ordering the access, and finally compliant user provisioning. While another solution has a dependency on SAP access control to ensure the compliant user provisioning. The only benefit of other solutions is that they can be used for non-SAP target systems as well. Further in SAP Access Control, the connection setup for new target application is very easy and fast.

SAP Access Control Provides The Best Security For Your Company
I have used SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Access Control within my current organization. Both are wonderful in their own aspects and I highly recommend both for a medium to large sized company. We use both at the same time so I would not say it is a competitor or one replaces the other.

SAP Access Control
Depends on which ERP products your company uses. If your company uses SAP then SAP Access Control fits perfectly. As our company uses SAP systems for all process and business areas we used SAP Access Control. With latest GRC 12 version it is much better with S/4HANA application.
