Inside SAP Business Warehouse
- The positive Return on Investment we receive with the software was the ability to import decades of data. We were then able to review the materials see trends we were previously unable to see without intense work.
- The only negative impact was applying the training and changing procedures to deal with the software. This worked out, obviously, because this is not a software to be using without proper training.

SAP BW End User's Review
- Data analysis and drilling is quick for those who can utilize it
- Data analysis and drilling is difficult to impossible for those who don't understand the platform, even if they understand the data
- Exporting of data and reports to Excel is very easy for the end user to interpret and manipulate.
- Negatively, the speed at which BW retrieves data and reports is very slow and out of date.
- Addition of daughter application HANA has helped this aging application stay afloat for a few more years. Overall it has been a great tool but it's showing its age very fast.

SAP BW 7.0 Review
- Positive - This tool report output is in Excel so it's a good tool if your users are familiar with Excel.
- Positive: this tool has rich BI content so developing extractors for standard processes from SAP ECC can be done in minutes.
- Negative: It lacks lot of features which are available in other newer tools today. For ex. - rich charts, rich filtering, exporting capabilities, user interface.
