(1-25 of 209)Ideal for moving from SAP PI or PO.
- Integrating products flawlessly.
- A low cost is associated with licensing.
- We are now having 0 downtime.
- Onboarding new staff members is no easy task.
- It can be challenging for a newbie to use the correct terminology.
- Included should be tools that are less complicated.

SAP Integration Suite experience from a starting point
The product helps us expose and protect the API by using API policies.
At the moment we are at a starting point, but later on we will scale up the use.
In the future use we will use and activate more capabilities of the SAP Integration Suite to embrace more business needs
- Protect API's
- Uniform exposure
- Better monitoring and overview of messages
- Support for more adapter types
- Certificate handling without using OSS
- Better and more mature migrations tool from SAP PO to SAP Integration Suite
Today we are mostly using SAP PO with XI adapters to ECC. Here it's difficult to find support and guidance in migrating these to SAP Integration Suite
SAP Integration Suite is getting to be very cool
We are using the entire scope / from b2b to Event Mesh to Cloud Integration
The business problems it solves are centralized monitoring, fast development, higher quality of code and better security. The possibilities with integration devops are great, because that can enforce governance of this. We also like the new advanced event mesh for handling many unique events per second
- DevOps integration
- Good overview of integration components
- Advanced Event Mesh
- All the connectors
- Monitoring could be better
- automatic exactly once in order handling
- Newer protocol support
- Standard content for B2B / ie Peppol integration
It is not good for EDI
SAP Integration Suite, perfect to migrate from SAP PI/PO
- APIs provide to manage the platform
- Reuse of migration from SAP PI/PO
- Good platform for running solid integrations
- Some of the mappings tools is a bit deficult to manage
- The API strategy could be changed
We have also created multliy SAP to SAP and SAP to succesfactor integration. It is a solid platform that allows you to manage the integration in a simple way.
The API management platform also allows you to fast to create a new setup secure endpoints that can be used in different locations.

Good stable functional product
- Runs stable
- Easy to work swith
- Old interface
- Requires some intro to use properly
- Transformation
- Orchestration
- Modern runtime
- JDBC adapter.support for Object parameter type while calling PL SQL function
- Public read only endpoint for CALM
- More visible and differentiable activity objects within iflow designer
Simplicity of API managment
The problems the application provides a solution for us is that we can use it as a single entry point for our exposing our SAP backend systems.
This helps us with the integration communication with our non-SAP systems.
- Single point of entry for reaching our backend API's
- For us have noticed problems with stability and operations
- There is no feedback from SAP whenever the solution is missbehaving
My review of the integration suite
As a integration developer and architect it is fun to work with a new product that offers more capabilities than the older PO platform. There are still use cases that we have in PO that is not supported in Integration suite making a complete migration impossible right now
- Template based integration
- Migration tool for easier scenarios in process orchestration
- Graphical iflows that are easy to understand for people that aren't necessarily developers
- Support for all the adapters that was supported by process orchestration. NFS Mount etc.
- Monitoring capabilities in PO are great, lacking in Integration suite
- Unsure about adapter module support that was used in process orchestration scenarios
Harder to move integrations using custom java mapping classes. As I understand we need to copy paste them and groovify the code.
Free trial is great and easy way to sell the product to the customer as a trial basis (I
'm working as a development consultant)

Integration suite is great for vendor connections between your HRIS platform (EC) and downstream vendors such as a retirement or benefits vendors, payroll management, or surveyor. It is very clear on both sides of the aisle what is and is not required to make a successful connection from one end point to the other.

SAP has developed a solid Cloud-based middleware offering.
- Putting information somewhere it will stay for later use.
- Using both synchronous and asynchronous connections.
- not highly transferable to situations when neither party is using SAP
- There are certain ideas here that are unique to SAP.
It is best suited for API management activity that uses the cloud as a backbone and cross-section.
- The drag-and-drop interface, as well as SAP regular improvements to its pre-packaged content, are also excellent features.
- The security features (such as the cloud connection for sending data to the local system, as well as encryption and scrambling) are really beneficial.
- Unlike other tools I've tested, the SAP connectivity package offers access to third-party cloud apps.
- Prototyping may be completed more quickly, and the team can determine whether or not to proceed with the integration depending on the feedback process.
- To assist with design and publication, the SAP connectivity package could surely benefit from additional user-friendly interfaces and functionality.
- The overall cost of the product as well as the training required for the team to do Agile PoCs so that we can rapidly show the portions that are practical and high value.

SAP Integration Suite
Ingegration Suite greatly improves the possibilities offered by PI/PO, being able to have much more flexibility in the development of integrations. It also improves in terms of performance.
As against saying that the standard monitoring solution falls short, in addition to certain problems that we have had in some upgrades without expected downtime.
- API
- Events
- Orchestrations
- Monitoring
- Upgrades
- Infrastructure transparency
- We've had a reduction in downtime from 4 hours to 0 hours.
- The processing time for high-volume interfaces showed a substantial improvement, with a remarkable 10-fold increase.
- There is a potential cost reduction of 300K USD in hardware and infrastructure expenses.
- TRACE logging should be increased from 10 mins to at least 1 hour.
- Message mapping loads a bit slow; I think this needs to be as smooth as SAP PI/PO.
- FTP adapter is missing, which is needed.
