as mentioned earlier, I have used SAP Commerce Cloud in my project, hence I choose it, on the basis of my experience of one year of using SAP Commerce Cloud, it helps in achieving by far the best deployments done on various environments without any hassle or failure, we can track each and everything related to the deployments going on and also the safety and security measures are taken by SAP Commerce Cloud to keep the data intact and out of the reach of the burglars is an appreciating point.
Dynatrace is used out of the box for SAP Commerce Cloud. Even if it's pretty hard for our new developers to get familiarized with Dynatrace, it's a very powerful tool we can use to debug and monitor the entire system (eg. database, tomcat, requests, latency, etc). So, it's really helpful to debug complex performance and bug issues.

This is more customizable than its competitors and is much more customizable and possesses greater flexibility as well as a multi-channel environment for flexibility in its delivery. It comes with Out of The Box setup for B2B, B2C, Telecom, Utility, Marketplace, and Chinese-based accelerators that quickly enable us to have a fully grown eCommerce system at our disposal.
Although the pricing is high SAP Commerce Cloud makes it worth every penny due to its high quality and wide range of functionalities. Since our organization has already been using other SAP products, it is easily integrated with minimum hassle and takes less time to get used to. Also, because it is well-reputed and best in the market.
It is the best suited platform for large business to business organizations looking to lean into digital commerce and scale their organizations for the long term. Other platforms are better suited for early stage or mid market businesses in retail and other verticals.
- Oracle CX Commerce (formerly Oracle Commerce Cloud)
SAP is a very complex and well-put-together software and there are a plethora of platforms available. SAP Commerce Cloud was chosen as the software for our organization to use because every application can be integrated across all platforms. The training is extensive but there are so many functions and customizations that can be used it was a no-brainer to make the switch.
Our executive funders and high-dollar donors use this platform and as a consequence, our company has adopted the system with no complaints. We appreciate it, but sometimes it is slow to respond to internal/external changes or organizational-wide updates. The customer service is also satisfactory, so it could be a little bit better.
SAP Commerce Cloud works great in addition to the SAP Analytics Cloud we previously had implemented. Both work wonderfully together hand in hand. We made the decision to supplement SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP Commerce Cloud after have such a great experience with the platform. SAP Commerce Cloud has improved business in so many aspects. It has been a great purchase decision.
Honestly, I wish we would have gone with Salesforce. For the cost, onboarding, plugins that Salesforce has (and SAP doesn't), mobile options, issues with SAP, etc., Salesforce would have been a better choice (in my opinion). Before the switch to SAP we had GoldMine and it was AWFUL. I DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Hybris is a massive enterprise-grade system that is built for scale. If your business has <1000 SKUs in the catalog and lacks a large full-stack +java e-commerce dev team, stick to a lighter, more agile solution. Hybris is a nuclear aircraft carrier, and it will take a lot of people, fuel and time to turn that ship.

SAP is a pioneer in this field and is a trustworthy brand. The reason behind choosing this software was to enforce a uniform system throughout the company considering we have been using the SAP ERP system. The field service is really impressive. The cost of this software was another attractive feature.
No other product was evaluated as this one was part of the Hybris solution.
We evaluated no other products as it came included in another tool.
We chose SAP Commerce Cloud over the other e-commerce platforms because it had integrated B2B and B2C capabilities. It is user-friendly and you can personalize it to make it your own. SAP Commerce Cloud's functionalities met the vast majority of our project requirements.
When I entered the company, SAP Hybris is already being used. So far, we are satisfied with the tool and have not shifted to other solutions so far.
