It's quite suitable for product content management, by making it easier to create, manage, and organize a larger product catalog, that we faced in the past 2 years. It's also quite handy at adding new brands, product lines, or offerings. Thanks to the platform's catalog management and multi-channel support. Moreover, it's quite handy at analytics and reporting to make informed decisions.

SAP has drastically reduced our time to provide quality service related to order processing for our customers. The provisioning of the order to processing and delivery has improved a lot. Automation for processes has reduced a lot of human errors. As well as reducing unidentified costs has improved the overall experience for our customers, which earlier involved multiple email chains.

Its easy to update my catalog and inventory. I have added more SKUs and expanded to international shipping. My items resonate to worldwide markets and I now have the opportunity to sell to them. SAP Commerce Cloud should allow me to scale the company and really touch worldwide. I may also add other products to the portfolio.

We weren't sure how to quickly sell our product to a myriad of different businesses or people. SAP allowed us point everyone to the same link, and storefront. This quickly gave us the chance to scale. Almost immediately we were able to sell to more people and not have to lean on a large salesforce to do so.
We still had them for larger more complex deals, but SAP worked well to dive in!

In my opinionm the software is not scalable per se. You need to increase the infrastructure budget and invest constantly some money on system optimization in order to achieve some kind of scalability - but all of that is very resource intensive. As a business user, I should focus on sales, not constantly on IT matters.

SAP Commerce is multi site, multibrand, multi country. You can base your expansion strategy in more web presences of SAP Commerce, all you need is a warehouse and SAP Commerce to scale easily. If your business model requires another brand to start working in Direct to Consumer you can use the same catalog and create a new channel in a small period of time compared to other solutions.

It makes it easier for the organization to develop business using the SAP Commerce functionality, as well as to grow our items and categories preserved in a catalog without having to worry about storefront loading. We may grow our e-commerce business by adding additional brands and turning it into a multi-brand store. We can also add more locations to our store, making it international and spreading our business operations globally.

There is still huge scope in branding and personalization, but in all the other aspects of the eCommerce solution, the SAP Commerce Cloud wins hands down and is able to provide a robust and reliable solution that can be customized as per the customer demands while adhering to the same industry standards that promote cleaner and resilient code for meeting both the current as well as future demands.

It has significantly increased our workload, which has allowed us to comfortably take on each new responsibility.
