  • Receipts through the Concur App
  • Travel booking and itinerary are integrated with Concur
Having all travel and expense reporting on one website makes it way easier to book business travel and submit expenses for business travel or meeting with clients. Concur can already be a frustrating website to use at time for submitting expenses, so being able to easily book travel and pull receipts and expenses from your corporate card statement makes it more bearable.

Not 100% sure I've got the names right here, but in essence the back-ends talk to each other to flow expenses etc through to accounts and HR as well as some integration with our personnel security vendor.

Easy integration which communicates overall access and by whom, total expenses per billing code and compared to available budget, overall monthly and annual budget tracking to both the user and the supervisor/employee. A great tool for reliable and ready-use.

  • Okta
Okta has been a great way to integrate with Concur because our company will log into Concur through Okta so there are no worries about security measures, passwords leaking or being compromised, or anything of the kind.

  • American Express corporate card
  • SAP Concur expense
We are now able to easily book travel in Concur, have to go on a corporate American Express card, feed into a Concur expense report, and sync automatically to NetSuite. It doesn't get much easier than that!

As mentioned before, it is very to use and i love the way it is synchronizing with the different app I am using. Even though Uber or Lyft are not SAP product, it is very easy to have that expense showing up automatically in your report.

  • Microsoft Azure SSO
I don't have to memorize/store another password and user name. I can use my main company user name and password and it automates all my information into the system so that expenses get submitted to the correct person.

  • Intelligence Reporting
  • ExpenseIt
1. The intelligence reporting is based on a somewhat older version of Cognos BI and is only available to users via dedicated licenses. Still, a small subset of our users finds the reporting tool extremely valuable. Provided you have Cognos BI report writers in your organization, the tool is highly flexible, so you are able to create a wide array of reports, as well as notifications (sending reports via email).
2. As I previously mentioned, the ExpenseIt add-on is very useful in reducing the amount of manual entry required of our users. This service allows users to scan receipts with their mobile device and the app will read the information on the receipt and use it to automatically fill in the expense entry fields, such as the dollar amount and date.
3. We have utilized the Detect audit tool for a little over a year at this point. The tool uses AI to evaluate expenses and receipts to combat fraud, duplicate transactions, unallowable expenses, etc. At this point, we do not recommend this tool. We have found that the tool misidentifies a significant number of expense line items. It frequently flags items incorrectly, marking them as high risk when they are valid, allowable expenses. Some examples are that many suppliers are incorrectly listed as bars and many purchases are incorrectly listed as software or alcohol. There were comparatively very few transactions that were correctly identified as high risk. We attempted to work with our Detect representative for several months to resolve these issues but they were ultimately unable to. We found that the Detect tool caused a measurable increase in the labor required by our report processing team and the tool also is a significant expense on its own. Therefore, it's a losing proposition for us. For very large organizations that process a great number of transactions and who are not reviewing the majority of expense reports anyway, I could see how Detect could maybe provide value since it can catch duplicate transactions across reports and users.

  • NetSuite
  • Salesforce
  • Workday (planned)
Concur-->NetSuite: Approved expense reports become bills and bill payments. From what I understand, the implementation of this integration was not easy, largely because it was new to Concur. However it works fine now. My only major complaint is that it's setup using a SFTP server that Concur pushes extract files to, which Boomi then grabs. Concur uses at white-list of something like 5 IP addresses, but Boomi can't be forced to restrict itself (unless you run the Atom locally), and so we get authentication errors regularly simply because we're using the wrong IP. Salesforce: Concur sold us their Salesforce connector, but we've yet to implement as it only does Expense-->opportunity. (We want expense to account) Workday: We're looking into this, will update.

  • iVantage HR file/employee roster
  • General Ledger (SAP)
iVantage HR file/employee roster - data gets ported to Success Factors (our performance management system), SAP, Salesforce.com and Concur. Planning on doing automation of employee changes in upload to Concur. SAP - expenses go into the financial system. There is a weekly dump via 3rd party tool.
