SAP report benefits over other software
- Creating reports of campaigns, brands performance is what we are doing. It has able to handle large amount of data and convert it to chunks and graphs.
- Utilize the program to create more customized reports from our TimeClock Plus application.
- Use more conditional formatting to allow us to use the same report(s) during different time periods and/or for different specific categories.
- Export the data from Crystal Reports into Microsoft Excel to further 'massage' the data.

Crystal Reports is not for casual users, but provides an excellent tool for professional report design.
- We will continue to use Crystal Reports to provide our operations team information about what is going on throughout the manufacturing process "right now".
- As our manufacturing processes change, the data that the plants want to see change. As users get used to having useful reports built for them, they will learn what they like and don't like and will want more complex reporting as time progresses. Crystal Reports is a tool that can support that need.

Crystal is it for pixel perfect, not so much for exports.
- We currently use it for pixel perfect reports, but not for ad-hoc kinds of reporting
- We almost never use Crystal for its graphs, which aren't bad, but they don't seem necessary in our industry (Insurance).
- We do report bursting and emailing via the SAP server (Crystal Enterprise, not Crystal Desktop) which saves our users tons of time at month end.
