We did compare with classic SAP BW but took SAP Data Services. We had SAP BW in place, that is why we evaluated the tool. The advantage of Data Services is that provides more connection flexibility as well as transformation. It is much more suitable when not all systems are SAP.

Currently it has become a very robust platform with nothing to envy of its competitors, demonstrating very good results in all implementations. It handles many options for monitoring and tuning processes, as well as for metadata tracking and data profiling.
